Since Donald Trump departed the White House, he’s kept a relatively low profile, essentially only communicating to the American people through select statements.
That’s mainly because the far-left extremists who run every major social media platform have banned Trump from their platforms.
That all may soon be changing, though, as reports indicate that Trump is about to return to social media in a big way.
After the events at the U.S. Capitol on January 6, Twitter permanently banned Donald Trump by claiming that his tweets “incited violence.”
Soon after, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitch, and Shopify all followed suit by suspending Trump from their platforms.
Of course, deplatforming Trump was part of a coordinated effort by the far-left to silence the former President and prevent him from being able to speak directly to the American people.
But as is often the case, Trump is playing chess while his opponents play checkers, and he now has a plan to return to social media, albeit not on an existing platform.
According to former Trump senior advisor Jason Miller, the former President has been hard at work over the past couple of months, and will soon return to social media on his own platform.
“I do think we’re going to see President Trump returning to social media in probably about two or three months here with his own platform,” Miller said on FOX News. “This is something that I think will be the hottest ticket in social media.”
“It’s going to completely redefine the game, and everybody is going to be waiting and watching to see what exactly President Trump does, but it will be his own platform,” Miller continued.

While Miller didn’t get into the specifics of Trump’s new social media platform, he did say that “numerous companies” have reached out about the new venture, and that Trump has hosted “a lot of high-powered meetings” at Mar-a-Lago.
“This new platform is going to be big,” Miller declared. “Everyone wants him and he’s going to bring millions and millions – tens of millions – to this platform.”
Obviously, this is welcome news for the millions of Americans who support Trump, and have missed his unique way of communicating his thoughts on current events.
At the same time, there’s no doubt the far-left is working overtime to figure out a way to stop Trump from utilizing this platform.
We’ve already seen the far-left attempt to destroy alternatives to existing social media platforms that sought to support freedom of speech.
So there’s no doubt that Trump and his team will face a bevy of attacks as they attempt to launch and grow this platform.
But as he has proved time and time again, Donald Trump isn’t one to go down without a fight, and will certainly find a way to win in the end.
No matter what happens over the next few months, there’s no doubt that it’s going to be entertaining to watch play out.
