Krispy Kreme is one of the biggest names in doughnuts in the country.

Now it’s looking to become the leader for another sweet treat for breakfast.

And that’s why Krispy Kreme is now serving a cult-favorite menu item seven days a week.

Krispy Kreme sells its cinnamon roll every day of the week

Krispy Kreme became one of the biggest doughnut chains in the country because of the popularity of its Original Glazed Doughnuts.

Fans would line up to get them when a location’s Hot Light was on indicating that they just came out of the oven.

The chain had a basic menu of coffee and doughnuts for years.

In 2021, Krispy Kreme unveiled its Original Glazed Cinnamon Roll for a limited time.

Their spin on the classic cinnamon roll was made with the same dough as its Original Glazed Doughnuts and the chain’s famous glaze.

Krispy Kreme also had a limited edition Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cinnamon Roll that featured a cinnamon roll topped with Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal and a swirl of milk icing.

Demand for the Original Glazed Cinnamon Roll was so strong that Krispy Kreme made it a permanent addition to the menu in 2022.

But there was a catch.

The chain only served them one day a week on Sundays.

Fans would have to wait until “Cinnamon Sundays” came around to pick them up.

Now Krispy Kreme is going to begin selling them seven days a week based on the enormous demand from fans for the iconic breakfast treat.

“Say goodbye to waiting for Sunday to roll around to enjoy a #krispykreme Cinnamon Roll,” Krispy Kreme said on social media. “Enjoy the deliciousness of our freshly hand-rolled Original Glazed Cinnamon Rolls, now served EVERY DAY!”

Krispy Kreme is giving fans what they want with the full-time addition of the Original Glazed Cinnamon Rolls to the menu.

And it could be setting up the doughnut chain for a big splash in the future.

Krispy Kreme launches partnership with McDonald’s

In a surprising team-up, McDonald’s announced that it would begin to carry Krispy Kreme doughnuts in its stores nationally by the end of 2026 after successfully testing them in Kentucky this year.

The pair announced that the burger giant would initially carry three flavors of Krispy Kreme doughnuts – Original Glazed, Chocolate Iced with Sprinkles, and Chocolate Iced Kreme Filled.

McDonald’s carried their own cinnamon rolls as part of its McCafe bakery line but they were discontinued in 2023 along with apple fritters and blueberry muffins.

Now that Krispy Kreme is going all-in on its cinnamon rolls it’s possible they could be added to the chain’s lineup at McDonald’s.
