It’s a well-known fact that Donald Trump is a big fan of McDonald’s fast food.
Now it played a role in his New York City criminal case.
And you won’t believe how McDonald’s ended up in Alvin Bragg’s trial of Donald Trump.
Trump makes massive McDonald’s order
A Trump aide was photographed coming out of a Manhattan McDonald’s with multiple paper bags containing Trump and his team’s lunch order.
It was only natural that Trump would seek his favorite comfort food as a Democrat prosecutor put him through a show trial.
Trump sometimes likes to turn his visits to fast food restaurants into campaign stops where Trump’s in his element interacting with the working-class voters.
It also gives Trump a chance to show how inflation hits home for everyday Americans, as Trump can point out the rising prices of fast food thanks to Joe Biden’s reckless socialist agenda.
This time was different.
“Trump’s people came back in today for lunch and told us not to tell anyone about their order this time,” one McDonald’s worker told DailyMail.com.
But unbelievably, the employee complained that Trump’s people didn’t leave a tip.
“They ordered different items and spent less this time, around $500. I can’t say because I don’t want to be fired. I don’t get paid extra. But again they left no tip, nothing!” the employee added.
Another employee described the contents of the order and also complained about no tip.
A bizarre complaint about the lack of a tip
Tips aren’t common at all for orders to go.
The person picking up the order didn’t receive any service from the wait staff.
Yet that became a sore spot for these McDonald’s employees.
“They came here yesterday and bought lots of food worth nearly $700,” an employee told DailyMail.com.
“They ordered 27 quarter pounders, 27 fries, chicken nuggets and filet-o-fishes. They didn’t even leave a tip, nothing!” the employee continued.
“There were three people who came in and they placed their order at the counter,” the employee stated.
“It’s not the first time we saw them. They came last year when he was in court. He has a lot of problems,” the McDonald’s employee concluded.
Trump’s history with McDonald’s
One of the most iconic photos from Trump’s Presidency came when he personally paid around $3,000 for a massive McDonald’s order when the 2018 National Champion Clemson University football team visited the White House.
The kitchen staff was furloughed during a government shutdown so Trump made the best of it with a massive fast food spread.
