Nancy Pelosi is one of the most fiercely partisan Democrats in the history of Congress.

Pelosi never has a kind word to say about any Republican.

But that all changed when Nancy Pelosi used one word to describe Mike Johnson that will have you seeing red.

Democrats heap praise on Speaker Johnson over Ukraine aid bill

After months of saying he would only move a Ukraine aid bill if it was accompanied by policy reforms that sealed the border, Speaker Johnson (R-LA) completely caved in to Joe Biden.

Johnson threw his support behind a $95 billion boondoggle that contained another $61 billion in taxpayer money for Ukraine.

There were also no border security provisions that would have stopped the record flow of illegal aliens into America included.

Conservatives led by Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) threatened to call a vote on a motion to vacate the chair.

But Johnson had one ace in the hole.

And that was the fact that Democrats could vote with establishment RINOs to table the motion and preserve Johnson’s Speakership.

Led by Nancy Pelosi, Democrats said they would support Johnson because they believed Johnson was a puppet that they could control.

Pelosi called Johnson “courageous” for siding with Democrats against the “anti-government” conservatives.

Other Democrats explained why they were willing to throw Johnson a lifeline when they refused to help former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy survive a motion to vacate the chair.

“McCarthy was both incompetent and dishonest,” Congressman Dan Kildee (D-Mich.) told reporters adding that “Johnson is just incompetent.”

Johnson defends his swamp sellout

Before becoming Speaker of the House, Johnson was a consistent vote against Ukraine aid.

But just like RINOs such as John McCain, Mitt Romney, Liz Cheney, and Adam Kinzinger would claim whenever they stabbed conservatives in the back to vote with Democrats, Johnson claimed he was “doing the right thing.”

“My philosophy is you do the right thing and you let the chips fall where they may. If I operated out of fear of a motion to vacate, I would never be able to do my job.”

Those were the magic words Democrats needed to hear to come off the sidelines and make it clear to Johnson they would have his back in any attempt to remove him as Speaker of the House.

Once again, conservatives are left fuming as their biggest obstacle in Washington, D.C. isn’t the Democrat Party, it’s Republican leadership.
