This conservative journalist organization is suing CNN for defamation and has a strong case

The corporate-controlled media has made clear over the years that their primary objective is to advance a far-left political agenda.

They are happy to avoid the truth no matter the cost, and will resort to slander and lies whenever necessary.

But now, they’re finally being held accountable, as this conservative journalist organization is suing CNN for defamation and has a strong case.

Back in February, the far-left oligarchs at Twitter decided they had heard enough from conservative journalist James O’Keefe and Project Veritas, the non-profit journalism organization he founded.

At that time, Twitter permanently suspended Project Veritas’ account for alleged “violations of the platform’s policies prohibiting sharing – or threats of sharing – other people’s private information without consent,” according to a CNN Business report.

However, when it came time for CNN news anchor Ana Cabrera to report on Twitter’s actions, she chose to report completely false information about Project Veritas’ suspension.

Rather than reporting the facts of the suspension, as CNN Business had already done, Cabrera claimed that Twitter permanently suspended Project Veritas’ account as part of a crackdown on “misinformation.”

Never the type to shy away from holding the media accountable, O’Keefe and Project Veritas have now sued CNN in federal court for defamation over Ana Cabrera’s false claims.

“Cabrera had knowledge of Twitter’s original reasoning for banning Veritas before she went on air and acted with malice when she said the de-platforming was part of a crackdown on those ‘promoting misinformation,’” Project Veritas said in a statement announcing their lawsuit.

Project Veritas also noted in their statement that just days earlier, Cabrera “had tweeted that the ban was in fact for an alleged violation of Twitter’s privacy policies – not for misinformation as Cabrera stated.”

According to O’Keefe, the actual tweet that allegedly violated Twitter’s rules and led to the suspension featured a video of Facebook’s “Vice President of Integrity” Guy Rosen being questioned about Facebook’s censorship outside of his home.

“The tweet in question arose when asking for comment from Facebook’s VP of Integrity about censorship,” Project Veritas said on their official Telegram channel. “Project Veritas is appealing this decision, as no privacy was violated.”

Meanwhile, Twitter has also targeted O’Keefe’s personal account, which just so happened to also be banned by the platform earlier this month as Project Veritas was in the midst of releasing numerous undercover videos of a CNN director admitting the network engages in far-left “propaganda” and made defeating Trump their primary objective in 2020.

As The Daily Wire reported, “Twitter claimed without evidence that O’Keefe was ‘violating the Twitter Rules on platform manipulation and spam.’”

Obviously, James O’Keefe and Project Veritas are a major target for the far-left, and whether it be CNN’s lies or Twitter’s censorship, they are working overtime to discredit and silence their journalism.

But as Project Veritas has proven with their decision to sue CNN for defamation, they are not going to go down without a fight.

Fortunately, it appears as though the truth is entirely on the side of Project Veritas and O’Keefe, as it generally tends to be.

They are going to continue to expose far-left corporations like CNN and Twitter for who they truly are.

Because in the end, the truth always wins.
