Many are wondering where in the world Kamala Harris is hiding.
Joe Biden appointed Harris as lead point person to the ongoing southern border crisis almost two months ago.
But as the border crisis continues to rage, Kamala Harris is AWOL.
One of Joe Biden’s first actions as President was to halt construction on the wall at the southern border and roll back Donald Trump’s immigration policies.
No sooner did Biden take these steps, and the whole thing blew up in his face.
The U.S. has been dealing with a historic crisis at the border for months now, and there seems to be no relief in sight.
In an attempt to try to quell the chaos that was the border, Biden appointed his second in command, Kamala Harris, as the representative for the administration overseeing the border crisis.
The problem is immediately following this appointment, Harris seemingly went into hiding.
Harris has not held one press conference or even visited the border since being put in charge, and that was 55 days ago.
Republican lawmakers, and even some Democrats, are furious at the situation, and they’re demanding immediate change.
In March, the Border Patrol reported 172,000 arrests of illegal aliens attempting to enter the country, and in April, the number jumped to 178,000.
Some reports are now stating that Border Patrol has given up, and they’re not even counting the people illegally entering the country anymore.
Arizona’s Attorney General Mark Brnovich sent a letter to Biden stating Harris’ failures as a leader.
“Her response to the border crisis has been absolutely abysmal, so I am requesting that she be replaced as your ‘border czar,’” Brnovich wrote.
Brnovich went on to write that any more delays or inaction will only serve to threaten the safety of the United States and that Harris needs to be removed immediately.
“I conclude by respectfully requesting that Vice President Harris be replaced as America’s ‘border czar,’” Brnovich stated.
Some believe that this was the plan all along and that Democrats are trying to get as many illegals in the country as possible so they can pass the biggest amnesty bill in history.
