President Joe Biden is using “gender identity and inclusion” programs to radically alter the federal government.
His regime changed the longstanding gender designations on passports to include “X” along with the traditional male and female to make them more inclusive and to promote “gender diversity.”
Last year, Secretary of State Antony Blinken announced the new “X” designation for non-traditional gender identities such as gender nonconforming, intersex, and non-binary.
The “X” gender designation will identify individuals as “unspecified or another gender identity” on government forms.
“After thoughtful consideration of the research conducted and feedback from community members, we concluded that the definition of the X gender marker on State Department public forms will be ‘Unspecified or another gender identity,’” Blinken said. “This definition is respectful of individuals’ privacy while advancing inclusion.”
Rep. Debbie Lesko (R-AZ) introduced a pair of bills to put a stop to this woke practice, saying that the State Department needs to focus on foreign policy, not wokeness.
“I introduced these bills to prohibit the ‘X’ gender designation,” Lesko told Fox News Digital. “The Biden administration has weakened our national security and emboldened our enemies with their failed leadership and disastrous foreign policy agenda.”
She said that bills were part of House Republicans’ broader efforts to “protect our national security and stop the Biden administration’s woke agenda.”
One of the bills would prohibit the State Department from using “X” as a gender designation and the second bill would ban it from the Transportation Security Administration’s (TSA) PreCheck program that allows travelers to bypass certain airport security requirements after a background check.
“As a result of this national security crisis, this administration’s top priority should be protecting the homeland by properly screening and vetting travelers, not wasting taxpayer resources to push the far left’s gender ideology,” Lesko explained.
The State Department is disregarding centuries of common sense on gender to pander to far-left activists.
The passport change was a part of the Biden regime’s effort to make the federal government more friendly to nonconventional gender identities.
Biden’s Office of Personnel Management instructed federal agencies to make it easier for government workers to change genders in the workplace and required that employees identify their coworkers by their preferred gender identity.
The Biden regime is more interested in advancing radical gender ideologies instead of focusing on the basic functions of government.
