Corporations have chosen to side with the Democrats instead of remaining neutral.
That’s why people have been subjected to “woke” capitalism over the past several years.
But Joe Biden is failing so badly even one left-wing billionaire is publicly calling him out.
With billionaire Elon Musk breaking ranks from the establishment, it appears that perhaps his chief rival is now following suit.
Left-wing billionaire Jeff Bezos has begun publicly pushing back against the economic prescriptions pushed by the Democrats and the Biden administration more specifically.
Musk started challenging the notion that the rich pay their “fair share” when he responded to Senator Elizabeth “Pocahontas” Warren and her broken-record commentary.
Now Bezos is doing the same.
Joe Biden is pushing the absurd lie that inflation is caused by billionaires not paying their “fair share.”
Bezos responded to a Twitter user who excoriated Biden for claiming he reduced the deficit by $1.5 trillion.
In reality, Biden and the Democrats only slightly toned down their historic spending levels – that is not tantamount to actually reducing the deficit, and the debt more broadly.
Bezos pointed out that the administration wanted to spend even more, but were rebuffed by moderate Senator Joe Manchin.
Bezos wrote, “In fact, the administration tried hard to inject even more stimulus into an already over-heated, inflationary economy and only Manchin saved them from themselves. Inflation is a regressive tax that most hurts the least affluent. Misdirection doesn’t help the country.”

Bezos is 100% correct.
Most billionaires are unwilling to discuss how inflation is a hidden regressive tax that hits the middle class and the poor the hardest.
They stay silent because they benefit from the overheated economy and increased speculation in the market.
But Bezos probably realizes that there’s no point in continuing to pander to the Left if they’re going to blame him anyway and push for unionization of his facilities.
The Biden administration responded to Bezos’s tweet by saying, “It doesn’t require a huge leap to figure out why one of the wealthiest individuals on Earth opposes an economic agenda for the middle class that cuts some of the biggest costs families face, fights inflation for the long haul, and adds to the historic deficit reduction the President is achieving by asking the richest taxpayers and corporations to pay their fair share. It’s also unsurprising that this tweet comes after the President met with labor organizers, including Amazon employees.”
Bezos did not back down in his correct analysis of the inflation problem.
He called out the Biden administration for trying to deflect from its reckless spending and misguided rhetoric.
Bezos replied, “Look, a squirrel! This is the White House’s statement about my recent tweets. They understandably want to muddy the topic. They know inflation hurts the neediest the most. But unions aren’t causing inflation and neither are wealthy people.”

If Musk and Bezos start a trend of corporations ceasing to pander to the Left and resuming a neutral posture, that would be a great development for the country.
