Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez represents the scary shift of the Democrat Party.
The Left now fully embrace their radicals and mainstream their fringe ideas.
Now Ocasio-Cortez just said something deranged about one top Republican.
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez illustrates the “crybully” nature of the Left.
Despite having 12.8 million Twitter followers and the entire corporate-controlled press fawning over her, Ocasio-Cortez loves to play the victim because victimhood is currency on the Left.
It’s why Hollywood actor Jussie Smollett faked being the victim of a racist and homophobic attack.
This time Ocasio-Cortez was whining about “women of color” in Congress being attacked by Republicans.
And Ocasio-Cortez essentially accused establishment Republican Kevin McCarthy of being a Klansman.
She said in a Tweet:
“People truly don’t understand the scale, intensity, & volume of threats targeting [Rep. Ilhan Omar] . . . Kevin McCarthy is so desperate to be speaker that he is working with his Ku Klux Klan caucus to look aside & allow violent targeting of woc (women of color) members of Congress . . . This cannot be ignored.”
This is beyond absurd, but the rhetoric of the Left continues to get more and more bombastic and catastrophic.
The epithet of “racist” has lost its potency on the Left due to overuse, so now “white nationalist” and “white supremacist” and “Klansman” are the new fill-ins for “Republican that Democrats don’t like.”
Ocasio-Cortez’s ridiculous Tweet stems from a joke that Congresswoman Lauren Boebert told that insinuated “Squad” member Ilhan Omar was a terrorist.
Boebert called Omar to apologize, but she would not accept the apology.
Instead she turned the joke into a public spectacle.
The Democrats are even discussing stripping Boebert’s committee assignments, which would be an unprecedented move.
As for Omar, her track record lends itself to jokes about terrorism.
Dozens of citizens from her district in Minnesota left the country to join ISIS.
Omar herself flippantly referred to 9/11 as “some people did something.”
And in a 2013 interview, Omar compared terror groups to America and England:
“When I was in college, I took a terrorism class . . . Every time the professor said ‘Al Qaeda,’ his shoulders went up. He’d say ‘Al Qaeda’ and ‘Hezbollah.’ You don’t say ‘America’ with an intensity. You don’t say ‘England’ with the intensity. You don’t say ‘the army’ with the intensity.”
Ocasio-Cortez and the rest of The Squad are wild-eyed socialist radicals, and every time they’re criticized for what they do and say, they claim victimhood.
