Left-wing activists in the press frequently use nasty terms like “racists,” “fascists,” or “anti-gay” when referring to Ron DeSantis and Donald Trump.
But the Left’s latest claim caught Trump and DeSantis by surprise.
And a former top Democrat Senator just made one jaw-dropping accusation against Donald Trump and Ron DeSantis.
First elected to the U.S. Senate in 2006, Democrat Claire McCaskill’s career ended when conservative Josh Hawley (R-MO) booted her from office in 2018.
In 2019, McCaskill joined MSNBC and NBC as a political analyst for the networks.
McCaskill uses her position in the media to help spread the Democrats’ lies and phony narrative about Republicans.
During an appearance Monday on MSNBC’s Deadline, McCaskill directed her fire at the Republican rock stars Donald Trump and Ron DeSantis.
McCaskill began by parroting the Democrat talking point that opposing Joe Biden’s war in Ukraine is equivalent to supporting Vladimir Putin.
“You’ve got a trio there,” McCaskill said. “Talk about the three amigos, Tucker Carlson, Donald Trump, and Vladimir Putin.”
McCaskill brought up how Republicans often accuse Democrats of supporting socialism.
“If you recall back in 2020, one of the accusations that was hurled against Democratic candidates, many times very unfairly, is that they were socialists,” McCaskill ranted. “They were socialists,” she continued, before adding that “these were socialists and this was attributed to maybe some of the margin shrinkage among Latino voters, especially people who had come from countries where socialism had squashed their freedom and their ability to succeed.”
McCaskill then lied by accusing Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin of forming a “political combo” and endorsing each other.
“You are now looking at a political combo, two people endorsing each other in politics, and one of them is running for President of the United States, and the other one is one of the largest and most important communist leaders of a socialist society,” she said. “That’s stunning.”
“Donald Trump loves communism,” McCaskill outrageously claimed. “He loves socialism.”
But according to McCaskill, Trump is not the only Republican who loves communism and socialism.
“And by the way, Ron DeSantis seems to kind of like it too since he wants the government to control business in Florida,” she said. “So what’s ironic to me is you’re not hearing — can you imagine for a minute if a Democratic candidate for President was playing cozy and was getting endorsed by a communist leader in this world?” she continued, before asking “can you imagine how people’s heads would explode in the Republican Party?”
Ron DeSantis and Donald Trump have been called just about every name under the sun by Democrats and the media.
But both Trump and DeSantis will be surprised to hear Democrats are now claiming they support communism.
