The war between Russia and Ukraine recently entered its second year.

Joe Biden promised to continue sending American cash and weapons for “as long as it takes.”

And now Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen said two words about defending Ukraine’s border that will have you seeing red.

Over the past year alone, Joe Biden funneled over $110 billion in weapons and cash to Ukraine to fund his proxy war against Russia.

According to State Department estimates, Biden has also imposed roughly 1,500 new and 750 amended sanctions and export controls against Russia.

Polls continue to show support for Biden’s proxy war with Russia is declining among the public, as Americans are more concerned with inflation, surging crime, and the border crisis.

That’s why many Americans were outraged on President’s Day when news broke that Joe Biden took a surprise trip to Ukraine when the United States is facing a crisis on multiple fronts.

Americans are also deeply concerned that Joe Biden is on the verge of setting off World War III, which would likely result in the use of nuclear weapons.

But Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen wrote an op-ed for The New York Times about Biden’s proxy war with Russia that will make your blood boil.

“Our work is not over,” Yellen wrote. “In fact, it is more vital than ever that we continue supporting the Ukrainians,” she continued, before adding that “Ukraine’s military resistance depends on a government that can function effectively, as well as a stable economy that can help finance defense efforts over the long term.”

“By fortifying the ‘home front,’ our economic assistance is helping make possible Ukraine’s stalwart frontline defense against Russia,” Yellen added.

Yellen then claimed that the American people have a “moral duty” to help defend Ukraine’s border from invasion and promised that “we will not rest until the war is over.”

Of course, the American people have zero obligation to defend Ukraine’s border, especially when our own border is wide open.

Since the beginning of Fiscal Year 2023, more than 300,000 illegal aliens have slipped past Border Patrol and made it into the country.

During Joe Biden’s time in office, more than 1.2 million illegal aliens were reported as “got-aways,” meaning they evaded Border Patrol agents.

But Joe Biden is more concerned with funding his proxy war with Russia and defending Ukraine’s border than he is with doing his job as President and protecting America First.
