A key Democrat went rogue on Alvin Bragg by stating one scary fact

Alvin Bragg expected to have the united support of his party as he put Donald Trump on trial on behalf of the Biden re-election campaign.

But Bragg got some bad news.

And a key Democrat went rogue on Alvin Bragg by stating one scary fact.

Alvin Bragg’s case off to a shaky start

The charges Bragg brought against Trump are so nonsensical that even liberals like Chris Cuomo can see that they are part of a coordinated effort on the part of Democrat prosecutors to wage lawfare against Donald Trump.

“Here is the criticism. This is a bad look for the Democrats,” Cuomo said in his interview with Congressman Ro Khanna (D-CA). “Bragg counts as a Democrat, James counted as a Democrat – in the other case, but that one’s done [and] now we’re dealing with Bragg’s case. It looks like this is a stretch at best to go after a guy that you guys are afraid you can’t beat at the polls. How do you see it?”

Khanna emerged as a lonely voice in his party cautioning against the glee on the Left over the sight of Donald Trump at the defendant’s table in a courtroom.

The California Democrat said that his party needed to focus on trying to beat Trump at the polls as opposed to looking for the legal system to provide a cheat code to end-run democracy.

California Congressman Ro Khanna calls criminal cases against Trump a distraction

Khanna called Bragg’s charge “the weakest” of all the politically-motivated indictments against Trump, and that Democrats ran a big risk of focusing on a “distraction” as opposed to the issues Americans care about.

“I think we’ve got to make the case at the polls,” Khanna began. “I mean I don’t think we should be making the case legally, and I agree with you Chris that this is probably the weakest of the other cases. But people care about the cost of food, they care about the cost of rent, they care about the cost of gas, they care about the fact that this country offshored manufacturing for decades and hollowed out rural and factory towns – what are we doing on that?”

“I think we can beat Donald Trump saying we’re going to do better on the economy, on bringing manufacturing back, on helping working-class families. This is a total distraction to the core issues we need to focus on,” Khanna concluded.

But Democrats know they can’t win the debate on the issues.

The average price of gas is $3.64 per gallon when it was $2.39 when Trump left office.

Inflation was at 1.4% in January 2021 and prices shot up over 19% since Biden became President.

On top of that, Biden smuggled over 7,000,000 illegal aliens into the country.

Distractions and fake criminal charges are all Democrats have at this point.
