Joe Biden’s record-breaking crime surge is destroying communities all over the United States.
Meanwhile, George Soros-bankrolled Attorney Generals are turning a blind eye with a soft on crime approach in the name of racial equity.
But Ted Cruz just asked a simple question pointing out what the cities most devastated all have in common.
Last year, President Joe Biden’s first year in office — 12 major cities in the United State broke crime records.
Texas Senator Ted Cruz is now calling out the facts the Left wants to ignore – all 12 of those cities are exclusively run by Democrats.
Portland, Indianapolis, Toledo, Rochester, St. Paul, Tucson, Albuquerque, Louisville, Columbus, Baton Rouge, Austin and Philadelphia all experienced record high crime surges in 2021.
Sen. Cruz asked one question that puts the focus where it needs to be.
“What do those 12 cities have in common,” Cruz asked. “Every single one of them is run by Democrats. All of them,” Cruz answered.
While Americans try to stay safe during a crime wave, woke Democrats are more concerned with propagating supposed racial equity.
They are calling to defund the police.
In fact, Cruz points out President Biden has nominated two leading police abolition advocates to senior roles at the U.S. Department of Justice.
And every single Democrat in Congress voted to confirm both of those soft-on-crime Biden appointments.
One of those appointments is for U.S. Attorney for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
President Biden nominated Rachael Rollins.
Rollins is one of the many Soros funded D.A.s ignoring crime all over America.
As District Attorney in Suffolk County, Rollins put out a list of 15 crimes her prosecutors were not allowed to prosecute.
“If one Senate Democrat on the Judiciary Committee had said, ‘No,’ Rachael Rollins, this incredibly soft-on-crime Soros D.A. – who effectively abolished the police by ordering her prosecutors not to prosecute drug crimes, not to prosecute resisting arrest, not to prosecute trespassing – we’re seeing in stores across the country looters breaking in, mocking the law, because Democrats won’t prosecute them,” Cruz said. “At any point, one Senate Democrat could had stood up and said, ‘Enough is enough.’ If one Senate Democrat on the Judiciary Committee had said, ‘No,’ these advocates for abolishing the police would not be senior members of the Department of Justice.”
While Democrats offer up every excuse in the book, Senator Cruz brings it down to the most basic common denominator.
“The crime that we are seeing surging across this country is a direct result of Democrats’ soft-on-crime policies,” Cruz said.
Americans are left to hope voters will remember the answer to Sen. Cruz’ question come November in the 2022 midterms.
