Scientists have one major concern about Monkeypox. But it’s not what you think

The medical establishment destroyed its credibility during the pandemic.

The world is still reeling from the terrible policies implemented in the name of defeating the virus.

Now scientists have one major concern about Monkeypox. But it’s not what you think.

Fear-mongering about COVID is no longer effective.

Most people are over the paranoia, and COVID has behaved in similar fashion to other coronaviruses.

Even vaccine maven Bill Gates admitted that the Omicron variant essentially ended the pandemic.

Gates said during a panel discussion, “Sadly, the virus itself, particularly, the variant called Omicron, is a type of vaccine, that is it creates both B-cell and T-cell immunity, and it’s done a better job getting out to the world population than we have with vaccines . . . That means the chance of severe disease, which is mainly associated with being elderly and having obesity or diabetes, those risks are now dramatically reduced because of that infection, exposure.”

With COVID on the back burner, the medical establishment attempted to fear-monger about Monkeypox, a viral infection that has been around since 1958.

That didn’t hold, so now the experts are moving onto the serious business of renaming Monkeypox because the name is supposedly too stigmatizing.

Axios reported that “the World Health Organization said . . . it will rename the monkeypox virus after concern that it could stoke racism and stigma . . . The current name for the virus, which has infected over 1,600 people in 39 countries this year and was first reported in Africa, does not adhere to WHO guidelines that discourage the use of geographic regions or animals, Bloomberg reports . . . A group of over 30 international scientists called for a name change last week, writing in a letter that ‘continued reference to, and nomenclature of this virus being African is not only inaccurate but is also discriminatory and stigmatizing.’”

This is what “the experts” have been reduced to thanks to the infusion of wokeness, fretting over the name of a virus that has been around for decades.

WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, who goes by Dr. Tedros, said during a briefing that the WHO is “working with partners and experts from around the world on changing the name of monkeypox virus, its clades and the disease it causes.”

The same thing happened with COVID, which was widely referred to as the Wuhan Virus before mouthpieces for the Chinese Communist Party deemed it “racist.”

Viruses have been named after locations and animals for years, but suddenly woke scientists determined that it was important to play with language.

This is the latest example of far-left politics infringing in areas where it does not belong.
