RINO South Carolina Congresswoman Nancy Mace wants to be the new John McCain.
Mace thinks this is her ticket to political stardom.
And Nancy Mace just found out the hard way she made the worst mistake of her life.
On NBC’s Meet the Press, Mace continued her corporate-controlled media tour bashing Pro-Life activists and falsely claiming Democrats won the Midterm elections due to so-called “Republican extremism” on abortion.
“We could have had a two dozen-seat majority, but we don’t. This was an issue top of mind for swing voters. When you’re looking ahead to ’24, going to the extremes and digging in, this isn’t going to work for most people. When I look at every issue, not just on Roe v. Wade, but every issue, we’re so divided,” Mace stated.
Marjorie Dannenfelser – President of the Pro-Life Susan B. Anthony group – slammed Mace for lying about the state of affairs.
Dannenfelser ripped Mace for claiming she is Pro-Life “while implying that her Democrat colleagues are currently willing to reach a national compromise on abortion.”
In addition, Mace omitted the fact that virtually every Democrat voted against a bill that would have protected babies born alive after a failed abortion.
“Yet she failed to mention that every Democrat except one just voted against a bill that would have required babies born alive after a failed abortion to receive basic health care rather than be left to die,” Dannenfelser stated.
That is the true extremism.
Dannenfelser added that Mace falsely claimed to be Pro-Life because she lies about abortion being a women’s rights issue and that when Republicans stick their heads in the sand on abortion, it is a losing electoral strategy.
“Being Pro-Life requires opposition to the destruction of children and tragic underestimation of women that abortion is – this is first and foremost a human rights issue. And failure to take a strong, coherent stand and contrast it with the extremism of the other side – for example by supporting a minimum national standard limiting abortions when unborn babies’ heartbeats can be detected or when they feel pain – is an abandonment of leadership. It’s also a losing political strategy as we saw in the Midterm elections,” Dannenfelser added.
In a memo after the Midterm elections, Dannenfelser pointed out that Republicans like Ted Budd in North Carolina, Marco Rubio in Florida, and JD Vance in Ohio all won contested Senate races by supporting the Pro-Life position while focusing the debate on the fact that Democrats are the true extremists on this issue, since they support taxpayer funded abortion on demand up until birth with no restrictions.
“GOP Pro-Life candidates win in competitive races if they define their opponents as abortion extremists who support abortion on demand with NO limits, and contrast that with a clearly defined pro-life position centered around consensus such as pain-capable or heartbeat limits,” Dannenfelser wrote.
Nancy Mace – like Texas Congressman Dan Crenshaw – is one of the new generation of RINOs who wants to win favor with the corporate-controlled media by always punching Right.
Crenshaw likes to attack Trump supporters over their support for an America First foreign policy.
And Nancy Mace is trying to build her anti-conservative bona fides by opposing the Pro-Life movement.
