When Fox News came on the scene in 1996 it ended the Left’s monopoly on the media.
Now Fox News is the number one rated cable news channel.
And Karine Jean-Pierre just crossed a huge line with this sinister attack on Tucker Carlson.
During an interview with left-wing MSNBC host Alex Wagner, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre refused to say if Fox News was a news organization.
Wagner’s question stemmed from the whining in the media, the Democrat Party, and among establishment RINOs like Mitch McConnel that Tucker Carlson crossed a line by playing footage which showed a more complete picture of what happened that day.
“The White House has been fairly outspoken about what’s happening in certain Republican circles – specifically, what’s going on over at Fox News, where Tucker Carlson is trying to whitewash the events of Jan. 6,” Wagner began.
“Does the White House consider Fox News a news organization?” Wagner asked.
Jean-Pierre tried to smear Carlson by referencing a 2020 case where Fox News management labeled Carlson an opinion host claiming even Fox does “not see Tucker Carlson’s show as news or even truthful. That is coming from the Fox leadership, that’s not coming from me, that is coming from them.”
Jean-Pierre then repeated the falsehood that the largely unarmed mob that entered the Capitol and left a few hours later tried to overthrow the government while again ranting over the fact that Carlson punctured the narrative the January 6 Committee created using cherry picked video.
“It was an attack on democracy,” Jean-Pierre declared. “It was an attack on our Constitution and you cannot whitewash that. Tucker Carlson cannot whitewash that. Anyone who doesn’t see with their own eyes what occurred cannot whitewash that. And so, the president’s going to stand with the police officers, he’s going to stand for truth. And clearly, that is not what Tucker Carlson believes in.”
“So, I’m gonna say that sort of sounds like the White House doesn’t think Fox is a news organization,” Wagner responded.
Jean-Pierre does not even need to answer that question.
Americans know Joe Biden does not consider any platform that covers him critically to be a real news outlet.
Biden refused to do the traditional Super Bowl Sunday interview this year because the game was on Fox and Biden did not want to be asked tough questions.
