It’s been a full month since a train derailed and spilled toxic chemicals into the air and water in East Palestine, Ohio.
But Joe Biden is still missing in action.
And Joe Biden’s America Last priorities were on full display with this eight word response about visiting East Palestine.
Even though President Joe Biden took a trip to Ukraine and pledged unlimited taxpayer dollars for his proxy war against Russia, he can’t seem to find the time to fit a trip to East Palestine, Ohio into his schedule.
Worse yet, President Biden and the lackeys in his regime don’t even seem to care about East Palestine.
It took Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg ten days before he even mentioned the disaster in a post on social media in which he blamed it all on former President Donald Trump.
And it took Trump showing up in East Palestine with truckloads of water and supplies to get Secretary Buttigieg to finally visit the area a full 20 days after the crash.
Biden’s EPA Administrator, Michael Regan, finally showed up in East Palestine in mid-February.
Most Americans were outraged to see Biden doling out billions of dollars to fund his proxy war in Ukraine while turning a blind eye to the disasters unfolding here at home.
“That tells you right now he doesn’t care about us,” East Palestine Mayor Trent R. Conaway said during an appearance on Fox News’ (FNC) Jesse Watters Primetime. “So, he can send every agency he wants to, but I found out this morning in one of the briefings that he was in Ukraine giving millions of dollars away to people over there, and not to us, and I’m furious.”
But last Friday, President Biden once again told reporters he had zero plans to visit East Palestine.
“At this time, I’m not,” Biden said about visiting the devastated town.
But Biden is slowly changing his tune in the face of growing public backlash.
On his way out of a lunch with Senate Democrats on Thursday, reporters asked the President if he had plans to visit East Palestine.
“I’ve spoken with every official in Ohio, Democrat and Republican, on a continuing basis, as in Pennsylvania,” Biden told reporters. “I laid out a little bit in there what I think the answers are… and we will be implementing an awful lot of the legislation here.”
As for visiting East Palestine, Biden added that “I will be out there at some point.”
President Biden’s critics frequently accuse him of always placing America Last with his policies.
And the way Joe Biden is ignoring the tragedy in East Palestine only adds more credibility to his critics’ America Last attack.
