In only his first few days in office, Joe Biden signed over 40 executive orders.
This took things to a level that no other President has gone.
But, Joe Biden just suffered an embarrassing blow when a judge slapped down one of his central campaign promises.
A 100-day pause on almost all deportations of illegal aliens was a promise Biden ran on.
Illegal aliens began quickly making their way to the border, believing they had 100 days to find their way into America while the country’s guard was down.
Open borders activists cheered the move and praised Biden.
But Biden and his supporters didn’t bank on the Texas State Attorney General Ken Paxton suing.
Well, sue he did, and a Texas District Court Judge Drew Tipton ruled in Texas’ favor and granted a preliminary injunction blocking the deportation pause.
“This preliminary injunction is granted on a nationwide basis and prohibits enforcement and implementation of the [100-day pause] in every place Defendants have jurisdiction to enforce and implement the January 20 Memorandum,” Tipton ruled.
Judge Tipton cited the financial burden imposed on states like Texas as part of the administration not following proper administrative procedures in explaining why this deportation pause was necessary.
“[T]he core failure of DHS lies not in the brevity of the January 20 Memorandum or the corresponding administrative record, but instead in its omission of a rational explanation grounded in the facts reviewed and the factors considered,” Tipton added. “This failure is fatal, as this defect essentially makes DHS’s determination to institute a 100-day pause on deportations an arbitrary and capricious choice.”
Biden’s deportation pause was nothing but a recipe for chaos.
Thankfully America has a few good judges left like Tipton, who was not afraid to block criminal aliens’ ability to remain in America and pose a danger to the public.
