But Franklin Graham just fired a warning shot at this one professional sports league.
Professional sports leagues in America have been captured and taken over by the radical Left.
Woke athletes and executives use their celebrity status to push the Democrats’ far-Left agenda on the American people.
The Left’s gender insanity is slowly creeping in and threatening to end women’s sports by allowing biological males to compete with biological females.
House Speaker Kevin McCarthy recently hosted several female athletes who were forced to compete against men in school sports in honor of “National Girls and Women in Sports Day.”
Riley Gaines, one of the athletes at the event, detailed her infamous experience racing in last year’s National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) swimming championship against Lia Thomas, a man who claims to be a woman.
“Not only were we being forced to compete against biological men, change in a locker room with biological men who, keep in mind, were fully intact with male genitalia, it was at this point I realized we as female athletes were being sidelined to men and reduced to a photo op, which of course makes a mockery of everything I’ve dedicated my life to,” Gaines said.
In Connecticut, four former high school female athletes are suing the state for its policy allowing men to compete against women in track and field events.
But now, a professional sports league is considering allowing biological men to compete with women.
“The World Surf League recently announced that transgender women athletes will need to maintain a testosterone level of 5 nmol/L for at least a year to participate in the women’s division,” Fox News reported.
Bethany Hamilton is a professional surfer who lost her arm when she was 13-years-old in a shark attack.
But with the World Surf League’s decision to allow men to compete in the women’s division, Hamilton is leaving the league.
“I personally won’t be competing in or supporting the World Surf League if this rule remains,” Hamilton said in a statement on social media.
The Reverend Franklin Graham is calling public attention to the attack on women’s sports by the World Surf League and is coming to Hamilton’s defense.
“Bethany Hamilton lost her arm in a shark attack while surfing when she was 13 years old, but she survived and has been surfing competitively for 15 years,” Graham wrote on Facebook. “Now Bethany says she is stepping out of the sport because of a new rule the World Surf League has put in place that allows men to compete in the women’s competitions.”
Graham called the rules “tragic” and asked who came up with it in the first place.
He also urged women to “stand up in revolt!”
“I don’t understand why all women don’t stand up in revolt!” Graham wrote. “Pray for Bethany and other brave young women like her who are trying to defend what even common sense tells you is right,” he continued, before adding, and “thank you for taking a stand Bethany—I hope they will decide to change this new rule.”
Donald Trump recently posted a video on social media promising to push for federal laws banning biological males from participating in women’s sports if elected President in 2024.
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis already banned biological males from participating in women’s sports.
And this will certainly be a top issue for Republican voters in the next election.
