Pop megastar Taylor Swift endorsed Joe Biden in the 2020 election.

Her presence in the 2024 election is one of the bigger stories in pop culture.

Donald Trump revealed one secret about Taylor Swift that has Democrats in a total panic.

Taylor Swift attended the Super Bowl where she watched her boyfriend Travis Kelce’s Kansas City Chiefs win their third Super Bowl by defeating the San Francisco 49ers 25 to 22 on the final play of overtime.

Heading into the game, there was mass controversy on social media about Swift using the game to endorse President Joe Biden in what turned out to be the largest TV audience in American history other than Neil Armstrong becoming the first human to “walk on the moon.”

There was never any basis to that speculation, but before the game former President Donald Trump posted on Truth Social that if Swift should endorse anyone it should be him due to signing the Music Modernization Act in 2018.

This legislation altered copyright laws to allow artists to earn royalties on their music once their songs made their way to streaming platforms.

“I signed and was responsible for the Music Modernization Act for Taylor Swift and all other Musical Artists. Joe Biden didn’t do anything for Taylor, and never will. There’s no way she could endorse Crooked Joe Biden, the worst and most corrupt President in the History of our Country, and be disloyal to the man who made her so much money. Besides that, I like her boyfriend, Travis, even though he may be a Liberal, and probably can’t stand me!” Trump wrote.

Recording Industry Association of America President Mitch Glazier praised the legislation at the time Trump signed it.

“The Music Modernization Act is now the law of the land, and thousands of songwriters and artists are better for it. The result is a music market better founded on fair competition and fair pay,” Glazier declared. “The enactment of this law demonstrates what music creators and digital services can do when we work together collaboratively to advance a mutually beneficial agenda. It’s a great day for music.”

The truth of the matter is Swift’s endorsement matters very little in the grand scheme of things.

Swift tried to get involved in the 2018 elections by endorsing Democrat Phil Bredesen against Republican Marsha Blackburn in the Tennessee Senate race.

The endorsement meant nothing as Blackburn cruised to an 11-point victory.

If Democrats really are counting on a Taylor Swift endorsement to bail out Joe Biden, they are in even bigger trouble than anyone currently thinks.
