The media has had a love affair with Kamala Harris since she entered the race.

But the feelings might not go both ways.

And J.D. Vance revealed the surprising reason the media should be angry at Kamala Harris.

Kamala Harris’ lack of interest in the Secret Service

U.S. Senator J.D. Vance (R-OH) sat down for an interview with former Fox News host Tucker Carlson for his The Tucker Carlson Interview series.

One of the biggest stories of the election should be the first assassination attempt against former President Donald Trump at a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania on July 13.

But the story virtually disappeared from the media after President Joe Biden dropped out of the race.

Vance slammed Vice President Kamala Harris for her lack of interest in what happened in Butler.

“This should be actually a media scandal,” Vance said. “So Kamala Harris is running against Donald Trump for President. Kamala Harris runs the government right now and Donald Trump came within millimeters of having his life taken by a massive security breakdown.”

Members of Congress have accused Kamala’s Department of Homeland Security and the Secret Service of stonewalling their investigation into the events of July 13.

“She should be using every lever of power to force insight and to force some sunlight into what’s actually been going on here,” Vance continued. “The fact that she’s totally uninterested, I think, is a real scandal.”

Why the media should be mad

The media has become an arm of Kamala’s campaign with their constant cheerleading for her.

Vance thought they should be up in arms over how Kamala handled Butler.

“Her political opponent nearly got killed and she has not used her government to actually investigate why or what security breakdowns led to him almost getting killed,” Vance explained. “The media and everybody else should be really pissed off about this because she could be doing much more than she’s doing right now.”

Carlson said that Kamala’s lack of concern suggested “a level of darkness” that was hard for him to swallow.

The Republican Vice Presidential candidate said there could be any number of reasons for Kamala’s lack of curiosity.

“I mean I don’t know, right? Is it incompetence? Is it that she doesn’t want to get to the bottom of it? Is it that if a story comes out that this guy was a left-wing radical, does it help Donald Trump so she wants to hide the motive? There’s so many different explanations here for what could be going on,” Vance stated.

He lamented that voters aren’t likely to learn the truth about what happened at Butler before the election.

“But look man, I’m a realist, do I think we’re going to find out what actually happened in…Pennsylvania before the election? No, I don’t because every incentive that exists in our government right now is to hide it, is to suppress it, is to lie about it, is to cover up for various people’s failures. And because of that, look man, I just don’t think we’re going to learn a whole lot about it,” Vance concluded.

The public has gotten more information from whistleblowers than the Secret Service about what happened at Butler.

It appears that the whitewash is already underway by the Biden-Harris administration.
