For the second time, an assassin tried to murder Donald Trump.

This is an unprecedented attack on American democracy.

And Donald Trump turned the tables on Kamala Harris after this assassination attempt.

Second assassination attempt against Donald Trump

Secret Service agents on Trump’s detail exchanged gunfire with a would-be assassin who stalked Trump as he played a round of golf at his Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Law enforcement later took the suspect into custody after he fled from the scene.

This is now the second time in two months that an assassin attempted to murder Trump in broad daylight.

The gunman was a radical Democrat who fanatically supported the war in Ukraine.

Trump told Fox News that Kamala Harris incited the attempts on his life by pushing lies about how Trump winning the election means the end of American democracy.

“He believed the rhetoric of Biden and Harris, and he acted on it,” Trump told Fox News Digital. “Their rhetoric is causing me to be shot at, when I am the one who is going to save the country, and they are the ones that are destroying the country — both from the inside and out.”

Trump added that it was really the Democrat Party that threatened democracy with their violent rhetoric.

“They are the opposite,” Trump continued. “These are people that want to destroy our country.”

“It is called the enemy from within. They are the real threat,” Trump declared.

The gunman’s motivation

The would-be assassin echoed Kamala Harris and Joe Biden’s false claim that “Democracy is on the ballot” in his social media posts.

This lunatic also clearly bought into the warmonger propaganda that Trump was in the thrall of Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Trump told Fox News that Democrats whipped up this hatred against him with the baseless lawsuits and criminal indictments that pushed deranged individuals to think the difference between America existing and not was Kamala Harris winning in November.

“They do it with a combination of rhetoric and lawsuits they wrap me up in,” Trump added. “These are the things that dangerous fools, like the shooter, listen to — that is the rhetoric they listen to, and the same with the first one.”

Trump also made sure that the media didn’t escape accountability for gaslighting nearly half of America into thinking Trump was a fascist through fake news and hoaxes.

“The media is made up of fools that will spew [Democrats’] garbage and spew their sick philosophies and will protect them at all costs, and they can’t believe they get away with it,” Trump declared. “Democrats are totally protected by the media.”

Trump wrapped up his remarks by saying he was the one who showed restraint in his language and that Democrats were the ones who needed to tone it down.

“They use highly inflammatory language,” he said. “I can use it too — far better than they can — but I don’t.”
