Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has used her position as a politician to achieve celebrity status.

But she’s neglected one of the most basic functions of her job.

And Kevin O’Leary revealed one awful truth about Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez that left her fuming.

Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) became one of the most high-profile members of Congress in record time by constantly seeking the spotlight.

But this fame was built while the New York-based Congressional district that she claims to represent has fallen apart.

Kevin O’Leary dismantles Ocasio-Cortez for failing her district

Kevin O’Leary – known as “Mr. Wonderful” on ABC’s Shark Tank – blasted Ocasio-Cortez for letting her district become a “third-world country” during an interview with Fox News personality Tyrus on his Outkick show, Maintaining with Tyrus.

“I look at AOC, what an incredible, incredibly successful politician she is and what a horrific manager she is,” O’Leary explained. “Her jurisdiction looks like a third-world country, and yet she’s great at social media and making outrageous statements and getting $5 at a time on, you know, every way she can on social.”

New York City is being overwhelmed by an influx of illegal aliens who have pushed the Big Apple to the breaking point.

Ocasio-Cortez’ – who supports open borders – district has sections in Queens that are covered in trash, have illegal aliens hawking goods up and down the sidewalks, and a red-light district has emerged with prostitutes soliciting customers in broad daylight.

And according to some of her constituents, no one in government is taking action to fix the dire situation.

“Good for her,” O’Leary added. “But wow, look what she did when Amazon came knocking for 10,000 jobs.”

Ocasio-Cortez worked to kill a proposal by Amazon to build a second headquarters in New York by demanding that the online retailer be crushed with stringent regulations and high taxes.

She opposed that potential headquarters – which would have been near her district – because of the company’s opposition to Big Labor and fears that it could displace some low-income residents.

O’Leary wonders why New Yorkers put up with Ocasio-Cortez’ grandstanding

“Why would you want to reward that?” O’Leary asked. “Why wouldn’t you say, ‘Excuse me. Could I get better management, please? I live here. I pay taxes here and I’d like a job. And I don’t think you’re doing a great job for me as a manager. How about I hire somebody else?’”

He noted that the great thing about democracy is that people can vote out bad politicians.

O’Leary added that he wouldn’t trust Ocasio-Cortez to “manage a candy store” because she’s a terrible “manager.”

Inside every socialist is a capitalist at heart

Ocasio-Cortez caused a stir in 2021 when she released a line of “Tax the Rich” merchandise on her online store that she sold for designer prices.

Mr. Wonderful mocked her at the time saying, “Inside of every socialist there is a capitalist screaming to get out.”

“Listen: You know what this proves? Inside of every socialist there’s a capitalist screaming to get out. AOC, call me,” O’Leary said in 2021. “We can blow this thing up together. We could make a fortune. I only want 7% royalty. That’s being reasonable. Call me. Call me.”

But Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is more interested in grandstanding than helping the beleaguered residents of her district.
