Chick-fil-A is known for having one of the most popular sandwiches in fast food.
In recent years, the chain has gotten creative by releasing unique twists on its iconic chicken sandwich such as the Honey Pepper Pimento Chicken Sandwich and Maple Pepper Bacon Sandwich.
Now the company has gone back to the kitchen to cook up a new take on an old favorite.
Chick-fil-A testing new line of pretzel bun chicken sandwiches
Chick-fil-A is testing Pretzel Cheddar Club Sandwiches in the Raleigh, North Carolina area for a limited time.
If the new sandwiches are a success, then the chain will roll them out at locations nationwide.
The Pretzel Cheddar Club Sandwich features a buttery toasted cross-cut pretzel bun with green leaf lettuce, sliced tomato, soft seasoned cheddar cheese, and strips of applewood smoked bacon.
A side of Creamy Dijon Mustard Sauce is included with every sandwich.
Chick-fil-A lovers will have their choice of a classic boneless breaded chicken patty, grilled chicken, or spicy filet on the sandwich.
Testing on the sandwich will run through May 25 after which the beloved chicken chain will make a decision on the sandwich’s future based on user feedback.
Chick-fil-A debuts new seasonal drinks
To celebrate the start of spring, Chick-fil-A is introducing four new Cherry Berry drinks for thirsty customers.
Cherry Berry Sunjoy, Cherry Berry Lemonade, Cherry Berry Iced Tea, and Cherry Berry Frosted Lemonade will be limited-time seasonal offerings on the menu.
“Our Guests have always enjoyed both cherry and berry flavors, especially during the Spring season,” Chick-fil-A Chef Christy Cook said. “We wanted to explore how to deliver that burst of fruit flavor they love, in a way that is unique to Chick-fil-A and that pairs so well with our menu items. Be on the lookout for other exciting beverage flavors to come and maybe a few familiar favorites from the past!”
