Facebook just told them it doesn't "support the scope" of content that exposes what Facebook did.
How Facebook and Google Are Blocking a Hunter Biden Whistleblower Documentary
Empower Oversight – the group that represented IRS whistleblowers Gary Shapley and Joseph Ziegler before Congress – is producing a documentary called Shielded by Power: The Whistleblowers vs. The Big Guy.
The film covers what the mainstream media spent years pretending didn't happen: how Facebook, Google, and Twitter buried the New York Post's Hunter Biden laptop story in the final weeks of the 2020 election.
When Empower Oversight tried to buy ads directing people to their crowdfunding page – on Google, Facebook, Instagram, and X – every single platform either blocked the ads or suspended their account.

Meta's own customer service told them the platform doesn't "support the scope of this content."
"This is not about any current candidates," Empower Oversight President Tristan Leavitt told The Daily Signal. "These are historic events. No Biden is on the ballot."
It didn't matter.
Google suspended their advertising account outright – then denied it when asked.
Empower Oversight provided screenshots of an April 2 denial and a subsequent notice blocking the ad because it "pertained to an election."
Google's spokesman told The Daily Signal: "We have found no evidence to support these claims. The advertiser account linked to this organization is active and able to run ads."
The screenshots tell a different story.
Gary Shapley and Joseph Ziegler Proved Hunter Biden Got Away With It
Gary Shapley and Joseph Ziegler are the two IRS investigators who testified before Congress that federal prosecutors gave Hunter Biden special treatment – delaying charges, blocking avenues of investigation, and protecting the Biden family from accountability.
These men risked their careers to tell the truth.
Hunter Biden was convicted on federal gun and tax charges in 2024.
His father pardoned him the moment it became legally convenient.
Senator Chuck Grassley, who chairs the Senate Judiciary Committee, said it plainly: "Gary Shapley and Joe Ziegler are honest and skilled investigators who did a patriotic thing by blowing the whistle. They've suffered shameful smears and retaliation, but in the end the truth always wins."

Leavitt has now written to Grassley, House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan, House Oversight Chairman James Comer, and House Ways and Means Chairman Jason Smith – asking each of them to investigate whether these companies are engaged in viewpoint discrimination.
This Is Not a Coincidence
In October 2020, Facebook throttled the New York Post story on Hunter Biden's laptop – the one that showed foreign business deals, family cash flows, and a President in waiting who had no business calling himself clean.
Twitter banned the Post account outright.
The "Twitter Files" released in 2022 showed exactly how that suppression worked internally – senior executives coordinating to kill the story, falsely labeling it as hacked materials when they had no evidence of that.
The FBI had possessed Hunter Biden's authenticated laptop since fall 2019.
It spent a year doing nothing with it.
Big Tech spent three weeks making sure nobody saw the story right before an election.

Now, in 2026 – with no Biden on any ballot, no election on the horizon, no justification available – Facebook is telling a watchdog group that content exposing its own 2020 conduct is simply out of scope.
That is not a content policy.
That is a cover-up protecting a cover-up.
Jim Jordan, James Comer, and Chuck Grassley are now asking the same question every American should be asking: What, exactly, are these companies so afraid of people seeing?
