The media’s job is to inform the American people.

And Megyn Kelly exposed the scary way the media is about to help re-elect Donald Trump.
Megyn Kelly blasts liberal elites for being out of touch
On a recent episode of her podcast, Kelly warned that Hollywood celebrities and media big wigs were about to make the same mistake as they did in 2016.
Kelly told listeners a story about how when she met Barbra Streisand in 2016, Streisand couldn’t comprehend how coal miners could vote for Donald Trump.
“This is why they don’t understand — on the Left — why people aren’t completely outraged over the latest comment of the day from Trump. The latest tweet, or Truth Social, like, ‘I don’t get it. How could they vote for him?’ I’ve told the viewers that I met Barbra Streisand years ago, it was 2016 . . . [S]he said to me, ‘How, how did, how did the coal miners vote for Donald Trump?’” Kelly stated.
Kelly said the answer was simple – Hillary Clinton wanted to put them out of work in the name of fighting climate change.
“I said, ‘Barbra, Hillary promised to take away their jobs. She made it a pillar of her campaign to wipe out coal,’” Kelly added. “And, you know, Barbra Streisand lives in a multi-million-dollar cliffside estate out in the Santa Barbara region. And she’s, her life is made forever. She’s got more money than she could ever spend in her or her children’s or grandchildren’s lifetimes. They can’t get themselves out of their bubble.”
Kelly doesn’t spare the media
Kelly also blasted liberal media icons like Joy Reid, Mika Brzezinski, and Joe Scarborough for raking in millions and detaching themselves from the lives of everyday people.
“I think about media and the fact that people like Rachel Maddow and Joy Reid are so far removed from anyone who’s actually living like that that they can’t even think about it. They can’t conceptualize it anymore. It’s just so far gone for them,” Kelly stated.
Kelly explained that lifestyle liberals are the ones waging these culture wars over transgenderism and pushing Biden to adopt the most radical Green New Deal proposals to alleviate climate change.
“You like your life like Mika and Joe do in New Canaan, Connecticut, and you’re surrounded only by the most fabulous. You don’t flutter an eyelid at the $100,000 photo with the presidents or the $250,000 to $500,000 meeting with them,” Kelly added. “And you forget what’s actually bothering people. You obsess over things like skin color, gender, climate, right? You obsess over it, and then you don’t understand anyone who disagrees. It’s sad.”
But history is repeating itself this year as a recent CNN poll showed Donald Trump up eight points on Joe Biden in Michigan.
Michigan is home to 1.1 million autoworkers and Joe Biden wants to close their plants to force Americans to buy electric vehicles made by companies in Communist China.
And if Joe Biden loses in November, will his cheerleaders in the media and Hollywood have enough self-awareness to realize they helped push him down the path of defeat?
