The British government just launched its national rape gang inquiry – the one they spent years refusing to hold.
Now an American professor, paid by a Saudi prince, told the victims to get over it.
His name is Jonathan Brown, and what he said next will tell you everything about who really runs Georgetown University.
The Saudi-Funded Chair Who Dismissed Child Rape Victims
Brown holds the Prince Alwaleed bin Talal Chair of Islamic Civilization at Georgetown.
That title is not an accident.
In 2005, Saudi Prince Alwaleed bin Talal – the same man whose name is on Brown's chair – wrote Georgetown a $20 million check specifically to fund Islamic studies.
It was the second-largest gift in Georgetown's history.
When Reform UK MP Rupert Lowe posted on X that his parliamentary inquiry had found a direct link between the rape gangs and Islam, Brown had a two-word response.
"Get over it."
Another user called that response "absurdly evil," pointing out that "something like this would never be said about any other group for lesser crimes."
Brown's reply: "Get over it."
Then he set his account to private.

The State Department said it plainly last November: "In the United Kingdom, thousands of girls have been victimized in Rotherham, Oxford, and Newcastle by grooming gangs involving migrant men. Many girls were left to suffer unspeakable abuse for years before authorities stepped in."
The Rotherham inquiry alone documented 1,400 victims – girls as young as 11, raped by groups of men, trafficked between cities, threatened at gunpoint and at knifepoint.
Thousands of victims. Decades of silence. And a Georgetown professor on a Saudi royal's payroll responded with four words total.
The Same Professor Who Cheered for Iran Attacking America
This wasn't Brown's first offense.
After Trump ordered strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities last June, Brown posted on social media that he hoped "Iran does some symbolic strike on a base."
He also wrote – a direct quote from a tenured Georgetown professor – that he hoped Israel would "get f—– up pretty bad" if it attacked Iranian cities.
Georgetown stripped him of his department chairmanship and placed him on leave.
Republican Congresswoman Virginia Foxx confronted Georgetown's interim president at the congressional hearing: "He's made similarly appalling statements for years, but he has been kept around. So now you're investigating and disciplining him?"
Georgetown removed Brown as department chair.
Brown kept his Saudi-funded chair.
The endowed seat – the one Prince Alwaleed's $20 million bought – survived every review untouched.
Who Is Really Running Georgetown
Georgetown is a Jesuit university founded in 1789.
It costs $60,000 a year in tuition.
American universities have taken nearly $8.5 billion from Arab sources since 1986 – Saudi Arabia alone contributing over $1 billion of that total – and the money flows to the same destination every time: Islamic studies programs whose professors do not criticize Islam, do not acknowledge uncomfortable patterns, and do not validate the concerns of people who notice what they can plainly see.
When Prince Alwaleed offered New York City a $10 million 9/11 donation, Rudy Giuliani rejected it on the spot – because the prince's public statement blamed American foreign policy for the attacks.
Georgetown cashed his check four years later and named a chair after him.
That chair is still producing professors who tell rape gang survivors to get over it.

Jonathan Brown isn't a rogue professor.
He is the intended product of a $20 million investment.
The national inquiry into UK grooming gangs formally begins April 13, 2026 – three days from now.
British authorities suppressed these crimes for decades because they were too afraid to say what everyone could see.
An American professor at a $60,000-a-year university, sitting in a chair bankrolled by a Saudi royal family, just demonstrated that the same cowardice crosses the Atlantic without losing any altitude.
And the chair Prince Alwaleed bought is still right where he put it.
