And Democrats flew off the rails when Donald Trump made this bold promise about religion and Christianity in America.
America was founded on the traditional Christian values of individual liberty, free markets, and Constitutional government.
But Christian values have been under attack for years by the radical Left and the effects can be seen all throughout society.
Morality and decency are shunned while degeneracy is celebrated.
Americans are not blind to the lack of traditional values and religion in today’s world.
A recent Pew Research Center survey showed that 80 percent of U.S. adults believe religion’s role in American life is shrinking.
According to the poll’s report, this is “as high as it’s ever been.”
Nearly half of respondents also see the decline in religion as a “bad thing.”
Former President Donald Trump is also concerned about the lack of decency and morality in American culture and society.
And on Tuesday Trump revealed his plan to “bring Christianity back into our lives.”
In a video posted to his Truth Social platform, Trump revealed the God Bless the USA Bible that he and music star Lee Greenwood created.
The God Bless the USA Bible includes copies of the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, the Declaration of Independence, and the Pledge of Allegiance.
Trump spoke about the attacks on Christianity and the importance of restoring religious values in American society.
“It’s a very sad thing that’s happening in our country,” Trump said. “But we’re going to get it turned around.”
“Religion and Christianity are the biggest things missing from this country and I truly believe that we need to bring them back and we have to bring them back fast,” Trump declared. “I think it’s one of the biggest problems we have. That’s why our country is going haywire — we’ve lost religion in this country.”
He expressed his love for God and vowed to “protect anything that is pro-God.”
“We must defend God in the public square and not allow the media or the left-wing groups to silence, censor, or discriminate against us,” Trump said. “We have to bring Christianity back into our lives and we will again be a great nation.”
“Our founding fathers did a tremendous thing when they built America on Judeo-Christian values,” Trump said. “Now that foundation is under attack perhaps as never before.”
Trump told his supporters that the Bible is his favorite book.
The God Bless the USA Bible is a King James Version and is not associated with Trump’s Presidential campaign.
