Democrats are ready to fight Donald Trump’s new “Border Czar.”
Their plans to resist him won’t play out like they think.
And Trump’s “Border Czar” predicted one wrong move by Gavin Newsom that would blow up in his face.
Democrats resisting Trump’s plan will get more illegal aliens deported by resisting
President-elect Donald Trump plans to carry out the largest mass deportation of illegal aliens in American history starting on day one in office.
He’s put his “Border Czar” Tom Homan in charge of leading the operation.
Democrats have made protecting illegal aliens from being deported the hill that they want to die on.
Refusing to cooperate has become the top priority for the Democrat’s new resistance against Trump.
Democrat Governors and Mayors have vowed to resist any effort by the incoming Trump administration to deport illegal aliens from their jurisdictions.
Homan’s plan is to start by first deporting illegal aliens who are national security threats or committed crimes in the United States.
Then move on to deporting other illegal aliens.
Many Democrat politicians are refusing to cooperate with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents who want to remove illegal aliens from jails.
That will force ICE agents to go out into communities to track them down.
Homan warned Democrats that not cooperating with ICE would backfire on them during an interview with the Washington Examiner.
“In sanctuary cities, expect a lot of collateral arrests,” Homan explained. “I mean, not priority criminal arrests. We can’t get the bad guy in jail. That means we have to go into the communities and find them, and there may be others. We expect a lot of collateral arrests.”
That means that illegal aliens who haven’t committed crimes will get swept for deportation while ICE hunts down criminals.
Sanctuary states like California won’t let ICE into jails to take illegal aliens who’ve committed crimes to be deported.
Tom Homan’s plan to deport illegal aliens
The “Border Czar” will start by going after the roughly 1.4 million illegal aliens who’ve been ordered to be deported but who are hiding somewhere along with ones with a criminal record.
“There’s over 700,000 criminal aliens with criminal convictions,” Homan stated.
The Trump administration is taking the handcuffs off ICE and allowing them to target anyone who’s in the country illegally.
Homan plans to hit the ground running the day Trump takes the Oath of Office.
“We’re starting across the country on the same day,” Homan explained.
“Twenty-four [ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations] field offices — some cover two or three states,” Homan continued. “Every field office will be given the direction that they are to begin looking for, arresting, detaining, removing those in the United States that have been arrested for a crime.”
The “Border Czar” hopes to be able to use military aircraft to deport illegal aliens.
“I hope we get to that,” Homan said. “We could use them as a force multiplier.”
ICE currently contracts with private companies for those services.
The party is over for illegal aliens as soon as Donald Trump is inaugurated on January 20.
