Gisele Bündchen was one of the biggest supermodels in the world.

But fame has its dark side for celebrities.

And this scary police video of Gisele Bündchen left everyone wondering the worst.

Gisele Bündchen captured crying by police on video after stop

Gisele Bündchen’s successful career as a supermodel and her former marriage to seven-time Super Bowl champion quarterback Tom Brady made her a celebrity in the United States after she immigrated from Brazil.

But bodycam footage from a police officer in Surfside, Florida – outside of Miami – showed her in tears when she was pulled over for a traffic stop.

Bündchen complained to the police that a member of the paparazzi was stalking her.

The video shows a Surfside Police officer ordering her to roll down the window of her Mercedes-Benz SUV.

“There’s paparazzi right there,” Bündchen replies before eventually rolling down her window.

She pointed off in the distance at the paparazzi.

“He’s right there in that gray car,” Bündchen says.

“OK, there’s nothing I can do about that,” the officer remarked.

The officer walked over to a gray car and shouted, “Leave my traffic stop.”

He returned to the former supermodel’s vehicle to tell her that she was getting off with a warning.

“I understand who you are, there’s nothing I can do about that,” the officer stated.

“I know but he’s stalking me,” Bündchen protested.

“OK, then file a report with Miami Beach,” the officer said.

Bündchen broke down in tears.

“What do you need, why are you crying?” the officer asked.

“I’m so tired, everywhere I go I have this f***ing guy after me, nothing protects me,” Bündchen said while crying. “I can’t do nothing — I just want to live my life.”

The officer had no interest in reassuring her about the situation.

“I can’t prevent them from doing their job, which is to take pictures,” the officer said.

“I don’t even know how that’s allowed,” Bündchen said.

She drove off after receiving a warning for the traffic violation.

Mayor unhappy with how police handled interaction with Gisele Bündchen

Surfside Mayor Charles Burkett said that the scary incident involving Bündchen and the police officer was “wholly unacceptable.”

“I was dismayed yesterday to watch a video interaction of one of our residents speaking to one of our police officers,” Burkett wrote Surfside Interim Police Chief Henry Doce in a letter. “As one watches the video, it becomes clear very early on that the resident is upset and frightened. The frightened resident tells the Surfside officer that she believes a stalker is following her and that she is afraid.”

Burkett said that the main job of Surfside police officers was to keep residents safe.

“This response is wholly unacceptable and not reflective of the values, judgment, and service residents expect from their police,” Burkett wrote. “On the contrary, our police department’s paramount job is to keep our residents safe!”

“The dismissive posture towards a resident who is clearly in distress is everything we do not want to see in the way our police interact and serve our residents,” Burkett added.

Police Chief Henry Doce admitted that the officer should have shown more “empathy” to Bündchen during the stop.

Gisele Bündchen dealt with the dark side of fame during her scary traffic stop and the officer was less than sympathetic.
