Chuck Schumer (D-NY) is defending a razor-thin majority in the Senate.

Schumer has big plans for next year should Democrats seize control of the entire federal government in November.

And reporters were caught by surprise when Chuck Schumer started singing this song for Donald Trump.

Virtually every high-profile Democrat in the country traveled to Chicago this week to crown Kamala Harris as the party’s Presidential candidate at their National Convention.

But the National Convention is more than a celebration to Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer.

The National Convention gives him the opportunity to discuss messaging and strategy with delegates from the Congressional battleground states.

On Monday, Schumer met with delegates from his home state of New York.

Even though there is no Senate election in New York this cycle, there are several competitive House races that could determine the balance of power in the Lower Chamber next year.

Schumer understands that Democrats need control of the entire federal government in order to ram their radical, socialist agenda into law.

Four of the competitive seats in New York are held by freshman Republicans.

Schumer gave the delegates a list of alleged accomplishments they could use for their campaign message, like COVID bailouts.

“There’s so much we can remind people of what we did,” Schumer said. “When we had a House majority, a Senate majority and a Democratic president.”

In a press conference later on Monday, Chuck Schumer vowed to eliminate the filibuster if Democrats keep the White House and Senate and gain control of the House.

“One of the first things we want to do is what we did first last time, but I think we’ll have more success and that’s democracy, dealing with voting rights, dealing with Citizens United, dealing with reapportionment,” Schumer said.

Of course, the filibuster has been key to stopping the worst of the Swamp’s legislation.

The filibuster requires the vote of 60 Senators to break it.

Without the filibuster, Democrats would be free to ram through their entire socialist wishlist.

Schumer filled with so much excitement while thinking about eliminating the filibuster that he started singing to reporters.

“Man, are we—we are so excited,” he said. “That’s the song! ‘We’re so excited.’”

Schumer then started singing “I’m so excited” and told reporters he hasn’t been this optimistic since he first attended a convention in 1984.

“Everyone wants to win badly,” he said. “Everyone feels we can win.”

But that wasn’t the only song Schumer wanted to sing.

He also had a song for Donald Trump.

“What’s your message to former President Trump tonight?” NBC News NOW anchor Tom Llamas asked Schumer on the convention floor.

“You can’t always get what you want,” Schumer sang in reference to the classic Rolling Stones hit.

He then walked away with a smile on his face.

Chuck Schumer and the Democrats are not shy about their plans for next year if they control the entire federal government.

It would be the end of liberty in America.
