Jen Psaki served as the face of the scandal-plagued Biden administration.

Now she’s under fire for a massive scandal of her own making.

And Jen Psaki landed herself in a scary situation after this lie came back to haunt her.

Jen Psaki’s lies land her in hot water with Congress

Jen Psaki did damage control for President Joe Biden when she served as his White House Press Secretary.

Now, she’s doing the same job as a member of the media with MSNBC.

In her memoir Say More, about her time in the Biden administration, Psaki tried to clean up duty for her old boss.

Psaki blatantly lied about one of the most despicable moments of Biden during his Presidency.

Biden was caught checking his watch multiple times during a dignified transfer ceremony for 13 soldiers killed at the Kabul airport during his botched withdrawal from Afghanistan in August 2021.

But Psaki claimed in her book that this was “misinformation” to make Biden look bad.

Families of the fallen soldiers, pictures, videos, and fact-checkers confirmed that he was checking his watch at the event.

She might be out of the administration, but she couldn’t help trying to do some damage control for Biden in an election year.

Psaki’s publisher removed this section of her memoir from future publications after this lie came to light.

Not only did this make her look like a shameless partisan hack, it landed her in hot water with House Republicans.

Jen Psaki staring down a potential subpoena

Biden’s botched withdrawal from Afghanistan will go down as one of the biggest foreign policy debacles in the country’s history.

But his administration has ducked accountability for the fiasco.

No heads have rolled from anyone involved with planning and executing it.

And Biden officials tried to claim that it was some great success.

House Foreign Affairs Committee Michael McCaul (R-TX) sent a letter to Psaki’s attorney after the former Press Secretary failed to testify voluntarily before the committee.

McCaul’s committee is investigating the Afghanistan withdrawal.

“Your client Jen Psaki has failed to adequately respond to my letter dated May 21, 2024, requesting that she appear before the Committee for a transcribed interview relating to my investigation into the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan,” McCaul wrote.

He previously noted that if Psaki was comfortable talking about Afghanistan in her memoir, she should have no issue doing it before the committee.

“Your client’s disregard for my request is an affront to this Committee and the U.S. House of Representatives,” McCaul continued.

Psaki and her attorney blew off McCaul’s first request to testify in a terse email.

“I am troubled by your and Ms. Psaki’s stated ‘deference’ to outdated ‘concerns’ from the White House Counsel’s Office,” McCaul stated. “Further, Ms. Psaki is a private citizen, who has published her insight into the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan for public consumption and personal profit.”

“Ms. Psaki’s duty to appear before Congress is manifest, and her former employer’s desire to avoid congressional oversight is not relevant,” McCaul said.

The former Biden Press Secretary was informed to show up to testify, or the subpoena process would begin against her.

Jen Psaki’s attempt to rewrite history in her memoir is going to land her in the hot seat in front of Congress.
