Jay Leno was known for his wisecracks against celebrities as the host of The Tonight Show.

Now the veteran comedian is speaking out about a touchy subject between a former celebrity couple.

And Jay Leno gave Gisele Bündchen one message about Tom Brady she’s going to hate.

Gisele Bündchen upset over Tom Brady’s Netflix comedy roast

Seven-time Super Bowl champion quarterback Tom Brady was skewered by comedians, celebrities, and his former teammates as part of his live, uncensored Netflix comedy roast.

Brady’s split with his ex-wife supermodel Gisele Bündchen became a frequent punchline at the event.

Celebrity roasts are known for their no-holds-barred jokes that hit close to home.

But Bündchen took issue with how the jokes involving her affected the couple’s children.

A source told People Magazine that Bündchen was “deeply disappointed by the disrespectful portrayal of her family on Sunday evening’s roast show.”

“As always, [Bündchen’s] priority is to support her children who were affected by the irresponsible content that was broadcasted,” the source added.

Bündchen’s relationship with her new boyfriend, her jiu-jitsu instructor, was a frequent subject of the roast’s jokes.

“You have seven rings,” comedian Nikki Glaser joked. “Well, eight now that Gisele gave hers back.”

Jay Leno weighs in on Tom Brady’s celebrity roast

Former Tonight Show host Jay Leno spent more than two decades making jokes at celebrities’ expense on late-night TV.

He praised Brady for his handling of the roast during an interview with Fox News Digital.

“I thought Tom Brady was a good sport, considering how people just roasted him,” Leno said. “He’s not a comic. Look, it’s a jock event. It’s all jocks. I mean, usually, that’s done in the back room of a big restaurant, and it gets really bawdy, and the fact that it’s on TV, it’s probably not to everybody’s taste, but you’re going to their space. They’re not coming into ours. But I thought it was fun.”

Leno said that there was one comic that caught his eye during the roast, Nikki Glaser.

“As long as it’s funny, it’s good,” Leno explained. “Nikki Glaser killed me. She was really funny. A lot of people might say it’s inappropriate, but if it’s really funny, it makes it OK.”

Polarizing reality show star Kim Kardashian was met with a chorus of boos when she took the stage at the Brady roast.

But Leno said he is a fan of the former Keeping Up with the Kardashians star.

“I like Kim,” Leno said. “She’s a nice person. She’s a lawyer. How many people have that much money and go to law school, really? I give her a lot of — I’m the one that named her [daughter] North. I did. Did you know that? Yeah, on The Tonight Show. She was like, ‘Ooh, I like that.'”

Leno added that he’s not really into celebrity roasts as a form of comedy.

“It’s not something I do, but it’s a different kind of comedy and it’s fine!” Leno exclaimed.

Tom Brady announced after the roast that he liked it but it would be the last one he did because of how it affected his kids.
