Over five million Americans tuned in to watch Donald Trump’s latest appearance on Fox News Channel’s Gutfeld!

Host Greg Gutfeld just delivered Fox News executives the highest-rated quarter in program history.

But then, Greg Gutfeld heaped praise on the last group of people his viewers ever expected.

Late-night TV used to bring to mind the names of great hosts like Johnny Carson, Jay Leno, and David Letterman.

But it changed when hosts like Stephen Colbert, Jimmy Kimmel, and Jimmy Fallon took over and turned the once-funny late-night shows into Democrat Party infomercials.

Instead of poking fun at both sides of the political spectrum, the new breed of late-night TV hosts spend most of their time lecturing Americans about not being woke enough.

As a result of the ratings crash, cost-cutting is happening across all late-night shows except for one.

Fox News Channel’s Gutfeld! is growing more and more popular among Americans.

Hosted by Greg Gutfeld, the show airs at 10 p.m. on Fox News Channel.

Donald Trump appeared on Gutfeld! on September 18 and sat for the show’s entire hour.

And it paid off big-time in the ratings.

The show drew five-million viewers and was the “highest-rated telecast in program history.”

But Gutfeld! is regularly among the most-watched cable news programs in America and finished August as the top cable news program in the key demographic of 25-54.

Americans enjoy Greg Gutfeld’s humor and his willingness to speak his mind on the political issues of the day.

Gutfeld frequently calls out his colleagues in the media for reporting fake news.

That’s why Fox News viewers were shocked to hear Greg Gutfeld heaping praise on his colleagues in the media for their coverage of Hurricane Helene.

“I can’t believe I’m going to say this, but I’m going to pay some credit to the media,” Gutfeld said. “Because I think this is the first — and I don’t say this is a bright side to a disaster because a disaster is horrible, but from somebody who looks at the media, this is really the first time that the climate change narrative has fizzled, you know?”

“It used to be instantaneously, a horrible thing would happen and everybody would blame it on man-made climate change,” he added.

Of course, Gutfeld is right.

The left-wing media constantly pushes the Democrats’ climate change agenda and their Green New Deal “solution.”

Gutfeld went on to explain how the massive increase in the size of the population means that “a hurricane that might have hit in 1940 would hit 800,000 homes, now it’s 11 million.”

“So when you adjust for wealth and population, the hurricane damage has not increased over the past 100 years,” he said. “And the total hurricane energy has actually decreased since 1980.”

Gutfeld predicted that “we have turned a corner in the climate change narrative because so many people have wised up on the climate models being inaccurate.”

Of course, conservatives could only wish Gutfeld was right about the media ditching the climate change narrative.

But that will never happen because Democrats view it as a way to control the American people’s lives.
