Democrat enthusiasm for Kamala Harris was supposed to be through the roof.
But something unexpected is happening in the party.
And Laura Ingraham revealed the scary revolt against Kamala Harris by Democrats.
Democrat fundraisers walk away from the party under Kamala Harris
Some Democrats are leaving the party after the hard Left turn it’s taken in recent years.
Two major Democrat fundraisers walked away from the party they supported for decades.
Allison Huynh worked for Big Tech in California and helped raise millions for former President Barack Obama in the 2012 Election.
She and former Democrat fundraiser Evan Barker appeared on Fox News’ The Ingraham Angle to discuss Vice President Kamala Harris’ latest attempt to connect with Americans.
Kamala did an online town hall meeting with former talk show host Oprah Winfrey that the former Democrat fundraisers panned for being “out of touch.”
Celebrities like Jennifer Lopez, Chris Rock, Ben Stiller, and Meryl Streep made online appearances for the event.
The softball interview was supposed to make Kamala look good to voters, but it highlighted how detached she was from the struggle of ordinary Americans according to Barker.
“I mean, it just felt like Oprah was lecturing working-class people who are struggling,” Barker told Fox News host Laura Ingraham. “She has no idea what it’s like to not be able to afford groceries.”
“She has no idea what it’s like to go to the gas station and struggle to fill up her car,” Barker continued. “She’s not affected by the economy right now. And so it just felt extremely out of touch.”
Democrat elites mock struggling Americans
Barker noted that Oprah brought up Kamala’s alleged stint working at McDonald’s in a patronizing fashion.
“Did anyone catch how Oprah basically made fun of people who work at McDonald’s? Did anyone catch that part of her intro?” Barker asked. “She said that Kamala Harris, who worked at McDonald’s and told everybody else that currently works at McDonald’s, all of the working class people, that there was hope for them yet.”
She criticized the Democrat Party for abandoning its working-class roots to cater to the wealthy coastal elites.
“So I just found the entire- programming to be incredibly patronizing,” Barker said. “It was a cringe-fest. It’s just everything that is emblematic of the Democratic Party and how out of touch they are right now with just regular people that are struggling.”
Barker, who served as a delegate for Hillary Clinton in 2016, reached her breaking point with the party at the Democratic National Convention (DNC) in Chicago, Illinois.
She grew up in a union family who thought that the Democrat Party had the back of the working class.
But at the DNC, Barker said how the policy decisions of the party are driven by a handful of wealthy elite.
Democrats still claim to be the party of the working class but they cater to wealthy and powerful special interests.
Big Tech, Hollywood, Big Labor, and Wall Street have become the main constituents of Democrats.
Kamala Harris joining Oprah Winfrey and Hollywood celebrities to sneer at ordinary Americans is the encapsulation of what the Democrat Party has become.
