The 2024 Election has been unlike any other in American history.

A wildcard could determine which candidate is sitting in the Oval Office.

And Bill Maher got a surprising warning about one secret weapon Donald Trump has.

Young men breaking toward Donald Trump could sink Kamala

In a close election, both candidates are looking for any edge they can get.

Journalist Peter Hamby thinks he’s found the secret weapon that could deliver victory to former President Donald Trump in November.

Hamby told comedian Bill Maher that young men moving toward Trump could be the key to the election during a segment on HBO’s Real Time.

A New York Times/Siena College poll from August found that Trump had a 13-point advantage over Vice President Kamala Harris with men aged 18-29.

“What explains Donald Trump’s appeal to young men?” Maher asked Hamby. “I saw today that the gender gap, I think, is the widest. I mean, it’s very predictable. I mean, the women are much more for Kamala, and the men are much more for Trump, generally.”

“But it’s not predictable if you look at past elections where voters under 30 — generally men and women — went for Democrats,” Hamby replied, “This is remarkable.”

Hamby – who has a news program on the social media Snapchat app aimed at the under-30 crowd – explained that this was a dramatic change from the 2020 Election.

“Yeah, the under-30 gender gap. It’s very different than past elections. Much bigger. So in 2020, young men and young women voted for Joe Biden at roughly the same rate,” Hamby said. “Over the last four years, and now with Kamala Harris, young women are voting for Kamala Harris at that same level, if not more. Kamala Harris has barely moved the needle with young men. They have gone more toward Trump. There’s a lot of reasons for that.”

Donald Trump’s strategy to reach the under-30 crowd

The dismal Biden-Harris economy is one of the main drivers of young men into Trump’s camp.

“I think Trump has exploited culture war stuff,” Hamby explained. “You know, he appears on hyper-masculine podcasts and he just seems like a fun bro. He’s not going to ban your Zyns, you know?”

Trump has changed up his campaign strategy this year to reach young men who don’t watch the news or consume traditional media.

He’s appeared on popular podcasts hosted by Logan Paul, Lex Fridman, and Adin Ross that appeal to young men.

Hamby said that this shift to Trump was a real electoral problem for Kamala.

“Hillary came up short; Obama did it; Biden did it. Kamala Harris is right now at, like, 55% of the youth vote,” Hamby stated. “If she doesn’t get to 60, she could lose the election, and it’s because young men, Gen Z men, are breaking to Trump.”

CNN senior political commentator Scott Jennings echoed a similar sentiment, pointing to the audience of comedian Joe Rogan’s popular podcast.

“His ticket to victory are these low propensity male, working-class male voters — the Joe Rogan audience,” Jennings said.

Young men who are fed up with the far-left, anti-male bent of the Democrat Party could be Donald Trump’s key to victory.
