“The Rock” is one of the biggest movie stars in Hollywood.
But he said five words about Donald Trump that weren’t typically heard from major celebrities.
And Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson dropped one fact about Donald Trump no one saw coming.
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson praises Donald Trump’s reaction to his shooting
Former President Donald Trump’s reaction after being shot at a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, will go down in history.
An iconic photo was taken of Trump with his fist raised, surrounded by Secret Service agents encouraging his supporters to “fight.”
Professional wrestling legend and actor Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson spoke at podcaster Patrick Bet-David’s The Vault Conference in West Palm Beach, Florida.
Johnson praised Trump’s reaction during the assassination attempt against him during his speech.
“Whether you love Donald, don’t love Donald, it doesn’t matter. They tried to assassinate him. There’s no room for that,” Johnson said. “Despite it being who we were in that moment, I still believe in my core that is not who we are as a country.”
“So him standing up at that moment, we wanted to see that,” Johnson added.
Johnson recalled when Trump, a member of the WWE Hall of Fame, watched him wrestle at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
“He used to come watch me wrestle all the time. That’s where we’re going now. It was great.” Johnson recalled. “He said, ‘Let me see the eyebrows.’ Got it. There it is.”
Johnson did his famous people’s eyebrow from his WWE days for the crowd.

The Rock backed off his support for Joe Biden
Johnson praising Trump wasn’t something that would have happened in 2020.
The professional wrestling legend told Fox News’ Will Cain in April that he wasn’t supporting President Joe Biden this year after he endorsed him in the 2020 Election.
He said that he reassessed things after seeing the state of the country.
“Am I happy with the state of America right now? Well, that answer is no,” Johnson said. “Do I believe we’re going to get better? I believe in that. I’m an optimistic guy.”
Johnson said that he wasn’t going to use his platform to endorse politicians anymore.
“The endorsement that I made years ago with Biden was one I thought was the best decision for me at that time,” Johnson explained. “I thought, ‘I’m in this position where I have some influence and I felt it was my job then to exercise my influence [and] share: This is who I’m going to endorse.’ I’m not going to do that. I was then, the most followed man in the world, and am today, and I appreciate that… but what that caused was something that tears me up in my guts — which is division. That got me.”
Johnson’s attitude represents a shift that’s going on throughout celebrity culture about Trump.
More celebrities and athletes are willing to be open about their support for him in the Presidential election.
The threat of cancel culture and the stigma from pop culture for supporting Trump has shifted over the last four years.
