Joe Biden’s path to victory in November continues to narrow.

The bad news rolls in on a daily basis.

And now a jaw-dropping new poll of this must-win state sent Joe Biden into panic mode.

Bombshell new poll shows Biden trailing in Pennsylvania

Democrats’ hopes that a guilty verdict would sink Donald Trump’s Presidential campaign officially imploded.

Throughout the 2024 election cycle, Marist is one of the most favorable pollsters for Biden and consistently shows him in the lead over Trump in national surveys.

But Marist’s latest survey of Pennsylvania – the tipping point state in the 2016 and 2020 elections – forecast doom for Biden.

Trump led Biden 47 to 45 percent in a poll taken of 1,131 registered voters in Pennsylvania from June 3 to June 6.

Marist took this poll entirely after the conviction.

And Marist wanted four days after the verdict came in to go in the field with the poll to allow time for the news to sink in with voters.

Pennsylvanians brushed off the verdict as an irrelevant product of a political show trial.

Biden struggling with key voting blocs

The poll contained red flag after red flag for Biden.

Trump led Biden among independents in a ten-point flip from 2020.

“Among independents, Trump receives 42% to 40% for Biden. Kennedy garners 8% with West and Stein each receiving 3%. In the 2020 exit poll, Biden carried independents, 52% to 44% for Trump,” Marist reported.

Biden’s margin among black voters shrunk from 85 points in 2020 to 45 in the latest alarm bell that Democrats’ historic advantage with black voters eroded under the force of inflation and open borders.

“While still strong, Biden has lost his formidable support among Black voters. 68% break for Biden to 23% for Trump. Biden handily won the support of most Black voters in the 2020 presidential election, 92% to 7% for Trump,” Marist also wrote of the poll’s results.

Trump also led Biden with the much discussed “double haters” – voters who disapprove of both candidates.

“Among those with an unfavorable opinion of both Trump and Biden, Trump (35%) leads Biden (24%) by 11 percentage points. Kennedy receives 19%,” Marist’s poll summary reported.

And finally, Trump is running neck-and-neck with young voters.

“Biden has lost support among voters under the age of 45. Biden (46%) and Trump (44%) are competitive. Biden carried this age group by 24 percentage points in 2020. Yet, Trump’s advantage among older voters has evaporated. He carried voters 45 or older by 12 percentage points in 2020. Now, three percentage points separate Trump (48%) and Biden (45%) among this group,” the Marist polling report stated.

Why Trump is winning

This poll was nothing short of a five-alarm fire for Democrats.

Trump’s lead over Biden was based on one factor.

Fifty-four percent of voters say life was better under Donald Trump.

For most Americans, 2017 to 2019 represented an economic golden age where jobs boomed, inflation stayed under two percent, wages rose, and the border was secure.

This poll is the latest piece of evidence that Americans consider 2019 the end of the Trump Presidency.

Americans associate 2020 with Democrat-supported riots and lockdowns.

The media spent four years whipping up a frenzy over every Trump tweet and fake scandal like the Russia collusion hoax.

With the passage of time and the benefit of hindsight, Americans realize they got played by the press and recall how good they had it during the Trump years.
