Chick-fil-A is one of the most popular fast-food restaurants in the country.
Getting a free lunch from there was supposed to be a special treat.
But a Chick-fil-A catered lunch caused Kamala Harris’ voters to have this epic meltdown.
Hospital buys Chick-fil-A for everyone and woke employees meltdown
The St. Mary’s Medical Center in Duluth, Minnesota, thought it was making a kind gesture when they put free Chick-fil-A sandwiches in the atrium for staff and friends and family of patients at the hospital.
“Please spread the word that Chick-fil-A will be handing out free sandwiches” an email from Essentia Health senior vice president for regional operations Tammy Kritzer stated.
Essentia Health is the company that owns St. Mary’s Medical Center.
A free sandwich from Chick-fil-A should be enough to brighten anyone’s day.
But woke employees at St. Mary’s Medical Center never learned to not look a gift horse in the mouth.
Angry emails poured in over the hospital having the nerve to give away free Chick-fil-A sandwiches.
“Chick-fil-A is an Anti-LGBTQ+ business and I would not recommend supporting them in any way. We need to protect vulnerable communities during this time and at all times,” a male nurse fumed in an email.
A medical laboratory scientist who used “they/them” pronouns in their email lectured the company about giving away free chicken sandwiches.
“I’m not sure Essentia realizes the message they are sending to their LGBTQ+ employees (or patients) with this affiliation,” the medical laboratory scientist wrote. “The sandwiches might be free, but the implicit endorsement certainly has a cost.”
Emails attacking Essentia Health for catering Chick-fil-A received a positive reaction from the employees.
Some employees stood up for common sense.
But common sense isn’t so common these days.
“It is just a Sandwich,” one employee stated. “Plenty of the items Essentia Health uses in the healthcare industry to include supplies and equipment were likely made in China. It doesn’t mean that Essentia supports communism or government oppression.”
The hospital apologizes for providing a free Chick-fil-A lunch
The woke outrage mob loathes Chick-fil-A because its owners are Christians who close the store on Sunday for employees to go to church and spend time with their families.
Chick-fil-A has also been accused of being hostile to the LBGT community for making donations to the Salvation Army, which left-wing activists see as a hate group.
Essentia Health Vice President Tammy Kritzer backed down after the woke outrage mob flooded her inbox with angry emails about free Chick-fil-A.
She issued an apology for buying the employees a free lunch from the beloved fast food chain.
“We have received feedback from some colleagues who were concerned or offended by this occurrence, and we value colleagues feeling comfortable expressing their reservations,” Kritzer declared.
Kritzer praised the bravery of employees who spoke up about a free chicken sandwich.
“We would like to thank our colleagues who had the courage to speak up to widen our lens of inclusivity, and we appreciate all colleagues continuing to live our values of respect and justice,” Kritzer added.
The woke outrage mob lives to complain and be miserable in every circumstance.
