It’s been nearly six weeks since Hurricane Helene slammed into Florida’s coast as a Category Four storm and created a path of destruction across the southeast.

But residents of western North Carolina say FEMA has been missing in action.

And a former NFL star dropped this bombshell about FEMA’s response to Hurricane Helene that should make every American furious.

Hurricane Helene’s fierce winds and record flood waters made it the third-deadliest storm to hit the United States this century.

More than 230 people lost their lives and dozens more remain missing.

Hurricane Helene caused damage in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Tennessee, South Carolina, and Virginia.

But the most devastation occurred in western North Carolina, as small towns and communities were wiped out and destroyed all across Appalachia.

However, the Biden-Harris administration dragged its feet in helping the residents of North Carolina.

But the American people refused to allow the good folks in North Carolina to suffer at the hands of the Biden-Harris administration.

And patriots from all across the country sent money, supplies, equipment, and manpower to help the residents of North Carolina in their recovery efforts.

One of those Patriots was former Philadelphia Eagles star Jack Brewer.

As MSN reported, “his organization – the Jack Brewer Foundation – along with local groups and volunteers drove into the disaster to provide immediate aid, including conducting assessments, clearing debris, distributing food and supplies and restoring power and basic services.”

Brewer recently spoke to reporters about his on-the-ground efforts.

And he did not hold back in expressing his outrage at Kamala Harris and Joe Biden.

“It was seven days before I saw a single person from FEMA walking around,” he said. “And they were just walking around doing assessments.”

“There’s no urgency to them when I’ve seen them and maybe that’s just the way FEMA now operates,” he said. “Be a part of the solution, don’t magnify the problem.”

Brewer told reporters that the locals are also furious with FEMA’s lack of response and refusal to help.

“I hope that all the attention that’s been put on FEMA, I hope it incentivizes them to move faster,” he said. “I think that FEMA needs to do a better job of coordinating with the local emergency management, emergency management.”

But what really infuriated Brewer was when he found out that FEMA had spent hundreds of millions of dollars on illegal aliens.

DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas announced that FEMA didn’t have the funds to make it through the remainder of the hurricane season after doling out more than $640 million for illegal aliens.

Brewer said, “it’s an example of the failures of this administration.”

He pointed to the “gaping holes that we have in our federal government when it comes to foreign policy, when it comes to disaster relief, and really when it comes to anything security related or putting Americans first.”

Brewer offered some good advice to Americans about the federal government.

“I don’t expect anything from this federal government, which is why, and to the day I die, I’ll be helping to serve my brothers this nation, and so I don’t expect nothing from them if they bring it,” he said.
