Melania Trump stepped out of the shadows and into the spotlight to promote the release of her new memoir on October 1.

The former First Lady has been releasing a series of videos teasing some of the controversial topics in her book.

Melania Trump shared a story about the Black Lives Matter riots that left Gwen Walz fuming.

The First Ladies of the United States have always played a prominent role in the political and social life of the country.

They’ve performed a wide array of duties in each of the Presidential administrations over the years.

Some First Ladies seek out the spotlight while others try to avoid it.

First Lady Jill Biden loves the public spotlight and tries to get in front of the camera at every opportunity.

But Melania Trump took the opposite approach during her time as First Lady and avoided the public spotlight as much as possible.

Instead, she focused her attention on raising their son Barron in the White House.

But Melania Trump has a memoir called Melania coming out on October 1.

“Writing this memoir has been a deeply and reflective journey for me,” Melania said in reference to the memoir. “As a private person who has often been the subject of public scrutiny and misrepresentation, I feel a responsibility to clarify the facts. I believe it is important to share my perspective: the truth.”

In order to promote the memoir’s release, she’s been posting short videos teasing some of the controversial topics and stories detailed in the book.

In a previous video, Melania Trump mentioned the FBI’s raid on their home in Mar-a-Lago and how it should serve as a “warning to all Americans” that “our freedom and rights must be respected.”

In another video, Melania defended the risque modeling work she did in the past.

“Are we no longer able to appreciate the beauty of the human body?” she asked in the video.

But Melania’s most recent video details one of the most terrifying moments in recent American history:  the Black Lives Matter riots that took place in 2020 following George Floyd’s death.

In the video, Melania recalls the harrowing experience of being rushed to safety by Secret Service agents.

“The loud knocking on the door sent a jolt through my body,” she said in the video. “The Secret Service agent told me I needed to move,” she continued. “Safety was paramount, not just for me but for the president and all of the residents in the White House.”

“The violent protests across the country had finally reached Pennsylvania Avenue,” she concluded.

Melania was terrified by the violent riots that rocked the country in 2020.

But Vice Presidential candidate Tim Walz’s wife, Gwen, will be furious when she sees Melania’s video.

Gwen Walz left her windows open at the Governor’s Mansion so she could smell the “burning tires” and appreciate the mayhem.

In an interview, she said, “those first days when there were riots, I could smell the burning tires – that was a very real thing – and I kept the windows open for as long as I could because I felt that was such a touchstone of what was happening.”

As Governor, Tim Walz delayed taking action for so long that hundreds of businesses across Minneapolis and St. Paul were burned to the ground and destroyed.

And this was the highlight of Gwen Walz’s time as First Lady of Minnesota.
