Many Fox News hosts have gone completely off the deep end.
But one just took things even further.
And you’ll never watch this Fox News host again after what he said about January 6.
The reality of January 6 is that it was a mostly peaceful event, with just a tiny fraction of those attending the historic protest committing violence.
But because it is the only real example of right-wing violence that exists in the 21st century, the media has painted the event as being worse than 9/11.
A few figures in the media, like Tucker Carlson, have bucked the Left’s narrative on the event.
But most hosts are parroting the same lies.
And perhaps the most despicable claims came from Fox News host Bret Baier, who admonished Republicans who challenge the mainstream media narrative.
He spoke about the first day of Nancy Pelosi’s corrupt select committee on January 6.
Baier said, “I watched every minute of this. If you were watching, you saw compelling, at times damning, emotional testimony from these four officers who fought the line to try to protect the Capitol and the lawmakers inside. For anybody watching who looked at that and looked at the videos and their testimony about that day and thought it was not violent, I think that was an eye-opener.”
He then went on, claiming that the Capitol Police officers who testified “fought to hold onto their lives” during the event.
“We obviously talked about January 6 a lot in the time since then but putting it all together and seeing it again is jarring,” Baier continued. “And to listen to these officers say how they really fought to hold onto their lives.”
He finished his point by attacking Republicans who refuse to go along with Pelosi’s highly politicized select committee investigation.
Baier concluded, “While Republicans politically are saying that this is a partisan effort and that they charge that it’s not going to get to the questions that they think are important about January 6th, why were the Capitol Police so ill-prepared for what happened that day. You cannot watch this testimony and say that it’s not a big deal. And you cannot watch this testimony and say that there are questions that are going to take us places that I don’t think we know where we’re going to go yet.”
With a few notable exceptions, Fox News has become just as fake as CNN.
