Whoopi Goldberg is still fuming that Kamala Harris lost the election.
She thought she was going to make a clever point on The View.
But Whoopi Goldberg utterly humiliated herself with one awful attack on a Trump appointee.
Whoopi Goldberg claims decorated veteran nominated by Trump has no military experience
President-elect Donald Trump shocked the political world when he announced that Fox & Friends Weekend co-host Pete Hegseth would be his nominee to be Secretary of Defense.
Hegseth was a complete wildcard who shocked most of the political pundits.
The Fox News star graduated from Princeton and Harvard and was an infantry officer with the Army National Guard who served in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Guantanamo Bay and earned two bronze stars during his service.
His pick caught the political pundits and Washington, D.C. insiders by surprise who thought that he was only a Fox News personality.
The hosts of ABC’s The View offered their two cents on the Hegseth pick and put their ignorance on display.
A clip was played of him on the Shawn Ryan Show podcast where he expressed skepticism about women serving in combat roles and ripped the military’s decision to lower their standards.
Co-host Whoopi Goldberg lashed out without knowing anything about him.
“The cohost of Fox & Friends: Weekend — not even, like, regular,” Goldberg whined.
“So is this the guy who’s qualified to make decisions about the most powerful military in the world who clearly does not know anything about the military,” Goldberg said.
Co-host Joy Behar joked that she be appointed ambassador to Italy because she’s a morning show host.
The parade of ignorance continues on The View
Co-host Sara Haines claimed that Hegseth would be in over his head because she incorrectly claimed he only served five or six years.
Hegseth served for 20 years and left with the rank of Major.
“It makes me more than a little worried that you’re picking someone who served for five or six years, he was mid-ranking, never has worked in the government,” Haines ranted. “You can say the government is bureaucratic and [you’re going to] get an outside person that’s going to clean it up, but it hasn’t been cleaned up yet and you have to understand the place you’re going into to operate it in its most efficient capacity.”
RINO Alyssa Farah Griffin mocked Hegseth by claiming he would get lost walking around the Pentagon.
“I don’t see any evidence that he understands the role of Secretary of Defense,” Griffin ranted. “He has no policymaking experience and no Pentagon experience. By all accounts, the reason Donald Trump chose him is because he wants a disruptor who is going to help implement his agenda.”
Griffin wondered if he would get lost trying to “navigate” the Pentagon building.
“He’s going to spend weeks just trying to navigate the Pentagon. It is one mile around,” Griffin claimed.
Co-host Sunny Hostin played the race card without explanation.
“I think we’re seeing misogyny play out. I think we’re seeing racism play out. And we should be disgusted. We should be very, very concerned. […] But again, I’m not surprised,” Hostin raved.
The View is dumbfounded and angry that Donald Trump decided to make a pick outside of the box to shake up the Defense Department.
