Whoopi Goldberg tries to spin Joe Biden’s pardon of Hunter Biden
President Joe Biden predictably issued a sweeping federal pardon for Hunter Biden that let him off the hook for every federal crime he may have committed dating back to 2014.
Biden repeatedly lied to the American people that he wasn’t going to pardon his son.
The media had praised Biden for being a noble defender of the rule of law for ruling out a pardon for Hunter.
Now the same media that shamelessly carried water for the President was left trying to spin his big lie.
Most commentators admitted that Biden lied about the pardon but tried to offer some flimsy justification about why he did it.
The Hunter Biden pardon divided the hosts of ABC’s The View.
Co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin called out Biden for lying to the public about.
“I take issue with lying about it. I wanted to ask [Biden] here when he came on The View’ but the thought was he said so many times he wasn’t going to pardon him. That, to me, is lying to the public,” Griffin said. “I felt bad for Karine Jean-Pierre; she had to say he wasn’t going to pardon him. That’s why they don’t trust Washington or politicians and I know a lot of us like Joe Biden, but I find it disappointing and bad for our institutions.”
“I would stop . . . I would stop calling it a lie,” Goldberg interjected.
Goldberg’s shameless defense of Democrats hit a new low when she tried to spin the definition of a lie.

Griffin was taken aback by Goldberg’s false claim that Biden didn’t lie.
“Okay. Why repeatedly say you’re not going to, and you do?” Griffin asked. “The half of the country that doesn’t support Biden and doesn’t get to have phone calls and they’re looking at a system that only benefits the people who are in power. What precedent does that set?”
Goldberg blamed President-elect Donald Trump for Biden lying about pardoning Hunter.
“It’s a precedent for all of us to open our eyes because we’ve elected somebody who was in a similar situation who didn’t have a drug problem, who knew what he was doing,” Goldberg ranted. “Who clearly stood and said, ‘I can do this’ and he did it.”
Goldberg and most of the media have pivoted to making the Hunter Biden pardon about Trump because there’s no way they can spin such a blatant lie from the President.
“I think he said, ‘Well, why am I busting my behind to stay straight and do this when nobody is? When no one else is?’” Goldberg said.
Goldberg uttered a sentence that she would never say about Trump.
“Look. He’s the President, the sitting President, and he can do whatever he wants to until his time is up,” Goldberg declared.
Joe Biden made the media who praised him for ruling out a pardon for his son look like fools.
