JD Vance appeared on Whoopi Goldberg's show and she never forgot it.
Thursday she brought that fight back, using the Knicks as her prop.
Goldberg now wants the champions at Trump's White House for one specific reason.
Goldberg Demanded The Knicks Show Up With Their Black Players
The New York Knicks just won their first championship in 53 years.
Owner James Dolan accepted Donald Trump's White House invitation within days.
That made the Knicks the first NBA champions to say yes to Trump in either of his terms.
Whoopi Goldberg seized the moment on Thursday's The View.
"I want them to go," Goldberg said. "I want all those black men to stand in our house and remind all of those people, as we tried to remind the vice president, that when you try to destroy one part of history, you're destroying all of our histories."

She wasn't talking about basketball.
Goldberg wanted black players paraded through Trump's White House as a political statement.
The studio audience cheered her on.
Five Straight NBA Champions Snubbed Trump Before The Knicks Said Yes
Every NBA champion crowned during Trump's two terms had turned him down before this week.
The Golden State Warriors skipped two visits in 2017 and 2018.
The Toronto Raptors passed in 2019.
The Los Angeles Lakers never went in 2020.
The Oklahoma City Thunder begged off in 2025, citing scheduling.
That's a five-team streak of snubs, and Dolan broke it because he's Trump's friend.
Co-host Sunny Hostin pointed straight at that pattern on air.
"I think there's a reason why every single – the previous five previous NBA champions crowned during the Trump administration – refused to go," Hostin said." And that's because he politicizes the events that come before him."

Hostin got applause for trashing the president.
Goldberg got applause for using black athletes as a backdrop for her own grudge.
Conservative Media Catches Goldberg Contradicting Herself In One Week
Days earlier, Goldberg defended Trump showing up to Game 3 of the Finals at Madison Square Garden.
"I think anybody who's a Knicks fan should be there," she said then. "You earned the right as a Knicks fan. I don't have to like you."
Now she wants the same man surrounded by black players specifically because she doesn't like him.
That's not a contradiction to Goldberg – it's the whole point.
JD Vance had appeared on The View days before this segment, and Goldberg referenced that visit directly, claiming she'd already tried "to remind the vice president" about history.

She brought that fight back Thursday and aimed it at the Knicks instead.
The one thing that fires me up most about this story is that Goldberg can't separate basketball from her own obsession.
She wants black players paraded in front of cameras to prove a point she never had to defend on her own show.
That's not civil rights – that's theater, and the kids she claims to care about deserve better than getting used as a prop in Whoopi's grudge match.
Trump didn't force Dolan's hand – Dolan is a lifelong Knicks fan and Trump's friend, and he made the call himself.
The players get to decide for themselves whether they show up, and if they do, it won't be because Whoopi Goldberg needed a backdrop.
