House Republicans chose a new Speaker of the House.
The Washington, D.C. Swamp tanked Jim Jordan’s bid.

Establishment Republicans tried to drag RINO House Majority Whip Tom Emmer across the finish line in the race to be the next Speaker of the House.
Emmer voted to impose homosexual marriage on all 50 states, to raise the debt ceiling, fund Joe Biden’s woke and weaponized government, and once did work for a George Soros-funded group that sought to eliminate the Electoral College.
In a GOP conference meeting, Emmer only secured the right to be the Speaker designee on the fourth ballot with a bare majority of the vote defeating Louisiana Congressman Mike Johnson – who eventually became the next Speaker of the House – 117 to 99 with five members voting present.
That was fewer than the 124 votes Jordan won the week prior to becoming Speaker designee.
Republicans then took a roll call vote to see if Emmer could win the 217 votes necessary to become Speaker to avoid the embarrassment of Jordan losing three votes on the floor of the House.
The roll call showed Emmer was far short of the 217 number and would likely never get there.
20 Republicans voted for a candidate other than Emmer and five others voted present.
Marjorie Taylor Greene was reportedly one of the Republicans opposed to Emmer and voted for Jordan in the roll call vote.
Congresswoman Greene confirmed this to be the case in a post on social media and declared that if the Washington, D.C. Swamp wanted to install a RINO like Emmer as Speaker of the House, then it should do so in daylight so Republican voters can see the shenanigans the establishment is trying to pull.
