Joe Biden couldn’t have picked a worse Vice President.
Kamala Harris has a natural ability to be unlikeable by people on the Right and the Left.
And what she just said left this Democrat Congresswoman red with rage.
It’s no secret to anyone that the crisis at the border is a national embarrassment.
Biden’s border bungle has him on the receiving end of ire from the Right and Left alike.
His unravelling of President Donald Trump’s border security measures has sparked an enormous wave of migrants to flood the southern border with no end in sight.
On a state trip to Guatemala, Kamala Harris tried to unwind some of the damage done by Biden’s border policies by begging Guatemalans to stop coming to America:
“I want to be clear to folks in this region who are thinking about making that dangerous trek to the United States-Mexico border: Do not come, do not come.
“The United States will continue to enforce our laws, and secure our border. There are legal methods by which migration can and should occur, but we, as one of our priorities, will discourage illegal migration.”
This is in stark contrast to radically Left immigration policies Biden and his base clamor for.
And one reason may be Guatemalan President Alejandro Giammattei’s comments that he and Harris are “not on the same side of the coin” on immigration.
But Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and her rabid followers couldn’t believe their eyes when they saw Kamala beg migrants to stay home.
She blamed the entire crisis on the United States spending “decades contributing to regime change and destabilization in Latin America. We can’t help set someone’s house on fire and then blame them for fleeing.”
In her eyes, taking down Communist regimes during the height of the Cold War was bad, and every US citizen alive today owes all of Latin America our houses and wallets.
Unfortunately for Americans, radicals like AOC can’t see that the border disaster in the south is what you get when you promise the world to people with nothing to lose.
