Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is unhinged over Donald Trump’ cabinet selections.
Ocasio-Cortez is flailing about in an attempt to resist Trump’s nominees.
And what Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said about Tulsi Gabbard will leave your jaw on the ground.
Ocasio-Cortez spreads absurd falsehood about Tulsi Gabbard
Former Hawaii Congresswoman and Democrat Presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard joining the Republican Party and endorsing Donald Trump proved pivotal in the Presidential election.
Gabbard supports Trump’s America First foreign policy and left the Democrat Party over the Left’s rigid adherence to woke ideology.
The Left pushing Gabbard, Joe Rogan, Elon Musk, and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. out of the party and into Trump’s camp helped Trump build the most diverse Republican coalition in history and win the biggest GOP sweep since 1980.
Trump nominated Gabbard – an opponent of foreign wars and illegal warrantless spying – to run the Director of National Intelligence to help clean out the Deep State agents to prevent a repeat of the Ukraine impeachment hoax, which Adam Schiff ran in conjunction with rogue actors in the Office of the Director of National Intelligence.
Ocasio-Cortez railed about the Gabbard nomination to MSNBC host Joy Reid, going so far as to claim she considered the Gabbard pick worse than Trump naming Matt Gaetz as the pick to serve as Attorney General.
“I actually think, almost more than Matt Gaetz, Tulsi Gabbard’s appointment is devastating,” Ocasio-Cortez ranted.
Ocasio-Cortez willfully departed from reality into the land of make-believe when she falsely claimed Gabbard – whose political identity was forged on her opposition to the wars in Iraq, Syria, and Ukraine – was really “pro-war.”
“And Tulsi Gabbard’s nomination, as much as she says that she’s an anti-war person, she’s not. She supports very pro-war individuals abroad,” Ocasio-Cortez claimed.
Without citing any evidence Ocasio-Cortez suggested a vote to confirm Gabbard was a vote to confirm a pro-war Director of National Intelligence.
“And let’s be very clear. A Tulsi Gabbard nomination is a pro-war nomination globally. Point blank, period,” Ocasio-Cortez concluded.
That prompted Reid to chime in without one of her patented falsehoods about Donald Trump to baselessly claim that Trump – who negotiated the deal to end the war in Afghanistan – was actually the warmonger.
“As is Donald Trump as President of the United States,” Reid exclaimed.
Gabbard’ actual record
In a Democrat Presidential debate in 2019, Gabbard swatted down the smear that she – like Donald Trump – was supposedly a Russian asset as a lie pushed by the media to silence her due to opposition to the war in Syria.
“The New York Times and CNN have also smeared veterans like myself for calling for an end to this regime change war. Just two days ago, The New York Times put out an article saying that I’m a Russian asset and an Assad apologist, and all these different smears,” Gabbard stated.
Before the war in Ukraine, Gabbard posted a video to social media calling on Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukraine’s Volodymyr Zelensky to strike a peace deal to avoid a disastrous war.
“Dear Presidents Putin, Zelensky, and Biden. It’s time to put geopolitics aside and embrace the spirit of aloha, respect, and love, for the Ukrainian people by coming to an agreement that Ukraine will be a neutral country– no military alliance with NATO or Russia—and therefore alleviate the legitimate security concerns of both US and NATO countries as well as Russia, because there would be no Russian or NATO troops on each other’s non-Baltic borders. This would allow the Ukrainian people to live in peace,” Gabbard pleaded.
Donald Trump campaigned on ending the war in Ukraine.
Trump wants to make sure the individual curating the intelligence that gets to his desk shares his goal of peace and isn’t trying to sucker him into prolonging America’s involvement in this lost cause.
That’s why Trump wants Tulsi Gabbard in the position of Director of National Intelligence.
