Hollywood worked overtime to kick Donald Trump out of the White House.
They truly are among his biggest enemies.
And Trump just torched everybody in Hollywood with an attack they didn’t see coming.
The biggest night for Hollywood every year is the Oscars.
It is where all the big names in Hollywood get together to pat themselves on the back in a fancy awards show.
But following years of left-wing propaganda in Hollywood, which reached a fever pitch in the past year, the Oscars aired with the lowest viewership in its history.
And former President Donald Trump wasted no time to mock them for it.
He released a statement calling their award show “boring,” and told them if they want to regain their audience they need to stop being “so politically correct,” along with actually having a host, which they stopped doing in 2019.
Trump’s full statement read:
“What used to be called The Academy Awards, and now is called the ‘Oscars’ – a far less important and elegant name – had the lowest Television Ratings in recorded history, even much lower than last year, which set another record low. If they keep with the current ridiculous formula, it will only get worse – if that’s possible. Go back 15 years, look at the formula they then used, change the name back to THE ACADEMY AWARDS, don’t be so politically correct and boring, and do it right. ALSO, BRING BACK A GREAT HOST. These television people spend all their time thinking about how to promote the Democrat Party, which is destroying our Country, and cancel Conservatives and Republicans. That formula certainly hasn’t worked very well for The Academy!”
The Oscars stopped having a host in 2019 following a scandal relating to Kevin Hart, who was set to host the awards.
They uncovered “homophobic Tweets” from the actor, which amounted to him joking in 2009 about how he would would build a dollhouse over his son’s head if he came out as gay.
While the Oscars have been rapidly shifting to the Left in recent years, this year reached a fever pitch.
The awards were filled with attacks on U.S. law enforcement, praise for the Black Panther Party, and demands for diversity quotas in the industry, which practically means hiring less white people.
