Trump Economy Just Humiliated Biden With Record-Shattering GDP Numbers

Biden spent four years telling Americans his economy was strong while they struggled to afford groceries and gas.

Democrats insisted inflation was "transitory" even as prices kept climbing.

And Trump just delivered economic numbers that made Biden's failures impossible to ignore.

Trump's Third Quarter Growth Crushes All Expectations

The Commerce Department released delayed third-quarter GDP data Tuesday showing the economy grew at a blistering 4.3% annualized rate.¹

That demolished the expectations of 60 out of 61 Bloomberg economists who predicted only 3.3% growth.²

The number marks the fastest growth rate in two years and represents Trump's America First economic agenda firing on all cylinders just eleven months into his second term.

"The TARIFFS are responsible for the GREAT USA Economic Numbers JUST ANNOUNCED…AND THEY WILL ONLY GET BETTER!" Trump posted on Truth Social after the report dropped.³

Consumer spending accelerated to 3.5% from 2.5% in the second quarter while exports surged 8.8% after declining 1.8% in the previous period.⁴

Here's what makes these numbers truly devastating for Biden's legacy: the economy contracted 0.6% in the first quarter of 2025 under Biden's lingering policies before Trump's agenda kicked in and reversed the damage.⁵

Biden's Economic Disaster Gets Exposed

For four years Biden insisted the economy was booming while Americans watched their savings evaporate under crushing inflation.

The so-called "Bidenomics" left families paying 15.5% more for the same goods and services compared to when he took office.⁶

Middle-class households got hammered with an extra $1,143 per month just to maintain their pre-Biden standard of living.⁷

Biden's "13 million jobs created" claim fell apart when 72% turned out to be positions recovered from pandemic lockdowns he supported.⁸

The truth is Biden inherited Trump's roaring pre-pandemic economy and promptly destroyed it through reckless spending and anti-energy policies.

Trump created 5 million jobs in his first 2.5 years compared to only 3.7 million actual new jobs under Biden in the same timeframe after factoring out pandemic recovery.⁹

Trump's Tariff Strategy Drives American Manufacturing

Critics screamed Trump's tariffs would crash the economy and spark a recession.

They were dead wrong.

Real exports grew 4.1% annually in the third quarter while imports fell around 5%, adding roughly 1% to real GDP growth.¹⁰

Trump's tariffs gave American workers, farmers, and manufacturers leverage to secure better trade deals covering more than half of global GDP.¹¹

The trade deficit plummeted to a five-year low in November, cut by more than half compared to the same month last year.¹²

Business earnings jumped nearly 18% in the third quarter when you strip out accounting gimmicks.¹³

These aren't abstract numbers on a spreadsheet. This is real money flowing back to American businesses and workers after decades of getting screwed by terrible trade deals.

Trump's America First agenda is working exactly as promised: exports surging, imports declining, manufacturing returning home, and the economy growing faster than the experts said was possible.

Biden left office claiming he handed Trump a strong economy when the reality was Americans drowning under inflation with a GDP growth rate of just 2.4% in 2024.¹⁴

Trump took that mess and turned it into the strongest economic performance in two years in less than a year.

The contrast couldn't be clearer. Biden talked about economic strength while families struggled. Trump delivered actual results that put more money in Americans' pockets and brought manufacturing jobs back home.

Democrats spent 2024 insisting voters were wrong to feel pessimistic about Biden's economy.

Now they're watching Trump prove exactly why Americans were right to demand change.
